Default Back again and a drastic decision!

Hi everyone. I popped back in a few days ago and started scrapping again. It has felt wonderful. The year and a half living apart from my husband is finally over and we have moved again (by Fort Stewart, outside Savannah)and are finally settled and resuming regular life. Well, life in the country with chickens new normal life I guess lol. All my kids are grown ups officially now and only one is left at home. No more school runs, no school shopping, no driving kids to work... WOW! I never knew what I was missing lol.

That led me to my drastic decision. Hold on to your seats... I deleted EVERYTHING in my wishlist! I know its crazy, but no more little kids, life is so different, I was not feeling some of the same things so I guess now its time to start a new one!

Feel free to share some of your favorites from the store with me, I need to shop! I'm still a maximalist template hoarder and I even see some new designers I should check out.

Anyway, I babble as always. I missed it here. I missed scrapping and thanks for having me. Im enjoying the Passport challenges which are new to me as well

Glad to see you back! As for kits, I don't know if I'm much help. I have my son at home who is 12 and lots of nieces and nephews that I scrap. I'm partial to Digital Scrapbook Ingredients, Flergs, and KCB when it comes to kits.

Glad you're scrapping again! Here are some items you might like.

You mention chickens, and I thought of this kit:

I understand changing up your wish list, though perhaps every once in awhile you'll want to scrap an older photo? I'm never caught up lol, so I still keep an eye out for baby/toddler kits for when the mood strikes to scrap those older photos.
This kit is on my WL for some of those Mom Life photos too.

No, you needed to move closer to Fort Campbell--not Stewart!!
Wow they are all gone? How are you doing?

Link you up...oh goodness, there are SO many amazing things that have hit the shop since you went AWOL!!

I just scrapped with this and it's a stunner!!

I had to tell myself "no" to this one and will probably treat myself to it at a later date!

This!! Have you done a Color Run, Glow Run any fun kind of run? This is a must have to scrap those photos!

These are good for your transition

Of course you can't go wrong with ANY of the templates in the store--they are all so amazing!!

Welcome back! I'm kind of jealous that you are unpacked. I still have one "junk room" that I have to sift through and organize

You can't go wrong with this one, it's so versatile. I've used it a lot.

This one caught my eye and now I want it!

I love the versatility of this one too!

This one is on my wishlist.

This might be a good for you too!

Yea, it is weird for sure. My 18 year old graduated, turned 18 a couple days later, and moved out the next day. She chose to stay in Columbus, GA when we moved a couple days later across the state. OMG, I bawled my eyes out. But Im getting there. Her and her boyfriend are coming to visit for a few days this week Im so excited! Oh and the eldest moved to DE in Jan to live with her boyfriend. So just my son is left now and he is 21.

I really love those transition kits, thank you!

I think the only reason we are unpacked is because I got rid of so much before we moved because we downsized from 5 bedrooms to 3, that was hard!

Yeah we downsized too from a 7-bedroom down to a 4 bedroom, lost almost 2000 sq feet--plus you know military housing, no storage. So I've been trying to organize everything. My poor Amazon and mail carrier have been delivering packages, picking up packages as I find the stuff either does or doesn't work in the space provided.

Wow, I can't believe your daughter stayed behind!! Mine wanted to stay behind in Colorado, but she had to come with us because she was still a minor--she just turned 18 last week. Now that she's here, I maybe have another year with her before she runs back to Colorado Why do our kids keep growing up and leaving the nest!

It's definitely a new chapter of your life. While I don't envy you, I can't wait to see how you spend it kid-free and falling back/deeper in love with your spouse!

Now get scrapping!! I've missed your layouts in the gallery!!

Welcome back!! You've definitely had a lot of changes recently.
Both of my boys moved out this year. Our older son is back with us for now. Our youngest started college today! It's really weird not having them around all the time.
There are SO many gorgeous kits in the Shoppe... it's hard to pick out just a few, but here goes!

Welcome back! I hope you love country life; that's what my husband swears we are retiring to...that or the beach, lol.

You need everything in the Note to Self series by Studio Basic & KCB.

And Cindy has a new template set called Get It Scrapped, so if you have any catching up to do, this is a great way to get caught up!

Yay!! So glad to have you back, girl!! I find for my boys I use KCB, Wendy P, Studio Flergs, Simple Pleasure, and Ru a lot. They've got that grungy, more grown up feel to their kits.

Hello, hello! Welcome back!

Now that you have chickens and are in the country there are tons of great country kits. KCB has a bunch! I tend to buy a lot of them with the intention of scrapping our feathered brood but it doesn't always happen. Are you loving having chickens? I soooo love mine! The ducks are pretty great too, but sure can make noise!

How nice to "see" you again, Sheri. I am loving it actually but they are 2 1/2 weeks old, so who wouldn't lol. I can't wait to scrap them as they grow, though.

Welcome back Tanyia!! I kind of disappeared from here for a while as well, returning in August.

I went from an empty nester to having a basement dweller again. My son went away to college for the past 4 years so he was only home holidays and summer vacation. He graduated in June, home for summer to work and decided to return to school for another Advanced Diploma at the local college. It was weird not packing him up and saying goodbye Labour Day. The dog is in heaven having her boy home (he throws the ball farther than I can).

Love seeing him, but man I didn't miss those grocery bills
