Default True Blood Finale *spoilers*

I wish they had shown more Eric in this one, lol. that little bit has to get me through til next June .

i was tearing up when Bill pulled out that ring!! Awwww! It was a great cliffhanger, Bill being snatched away like that. Poor Sookie! I can't wait til next summer.
Meanwhile, i'm reading the books like crazy! i finished book 3 on Saturday, went and go book 4 yesterday and finished it last night! Book 5 is waiting in my purse.

The books are awesome! I'm waiting for #9 to be available at the library...I have all paperbacks and don't want to buy a hardcover one just so I can read it NOW. LOL

The finale was good...tied up the Marianne story pretty well. Now that Bill has proposed to Sookie and she wants to say yes, I don't know how easily she'll fall for the other characters, like in the books.

The whole Sam thing at Maryanne's end threw me for a loop. It was a pretty good ending. I love how they are leading into Season 3, which is supposedly based on book 3.

yah, that bothers me a bit. i like Bill in the show, but i'm not too fond of him in the books now. but it also kind of bothers me cause i adored him at first. its hard that the books made him into a jerk, lol. and i'm torn cause i LOVE Eric! book 4 was amazing! i understand that they have to change some things around for the show, but it can get confusing, lol.

but, in the books, humans and vamps cant get married, so though Bill asking Sookie to marry him is so sweet, it wouldn't happen in the books. so i don't know why they threw that in there? unless they are not planning on following some things that are in the books? hmmmm.....can't wait to find out!

What do you all make of the Queen of Lousiana selling the vampire blood through Eric? Wonder what's up with that!

apparently, the director or whatever is switching up the True Blood series so they are not like the books so no on knows what is coming. read that on Facebook. makes sense but when you read something in the books then find out its not hapening on tv its sort of frustrating. they should just make a movie completely based on the books!

It definitely needed more Eric! I thought it was good. I really like the show and I liked the books too (I've read all but the last one ) but I find myself always comparing the show/book and trying to figure out where they're going. It sure seemed like a short season.

I hate how different they make the show from the book.

And totally not enough Eric. You know the next book doesn't come out until May 2010.

I'm reading the books just now. I came to the series and the books just this year and I'm not as tied in to the stories following the books. I can see how they pulled a lot of story elements from the books and created a totally believable story from them, even though they aren't exactly like the books. For example, Lafayette. I'm so glad they didn't kill him off in the tv show as I adore him.
Right now I'm close to finishing up book 2 and will soon start 3. The stories are great; I adore her down to earth writing style.
I've not seen season 1 and would love to sometime before next summer gets here, lol.

the books are soooo different! I mean the whole kidnapping thing was even different so I am curious as to how that will all play out....and bill is sookie's attachment is much much stronger in the show than in the books so I am curious as to how things will happen next season since in the books it was a deciding book in the sookie/bill relationship.

On the queen and the blood thing I guess maybe she's wanting to keep track of who is doing the drugs maybe? Don't know...

And HALLELUJAH for Maryann being over finally. I was so bored with that storyline. lol

yah i was sick of the whole Maryann storyline too. in the books, the Maenad wasn't talked about much. i also wonder about Jessica, the girl Bill was forced to turn. so far she isn't in the books at all. and it was the first season that that all happened. so either it happens later on in the books, or it was something they made up and threw in there. I hope she doesn't turn bad; i like her and Hoyt together.

i love the little comments she makes to Bill. "If i get an eating disorder its your fault!"
