Like I don't have enough fonts already, but, heck... I love hoarding fonts

Thanks, Val!

LOL! I know. I was looking for good fonts to replicate for hand lettering for my art journals and this one popped up. It's too pretty to keep to myself.

It's very pretty, but my kids have requested that I don't use cursive fonts in our albums. As the emphasis in schools has moved to keyboarding & computer skills, they're dropping cursive. My kids got a few months of instruction on it in 3rd grade, then it disappeared from the curriculum and they forgot a lot of it. I have a lot of favorite script fonts that I'm not using anymore so that they and eventually their kids will be able to read the journaling. 😔

My 7 year old hates me using cursive in my lay outs too but i figure she will eventually catch on how to read them when she gets a bit older

That is nice! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Do you guys really think that cursive writing is going to disappear? I suppose it's not necessary; I can type my thoughts as well as I can write them. There's just something special to me about writing it all out in a journal, way more special than typing it out on a screen!

I do. It seems crazy that it will disappear so fast, but I've heard from lots of teachers and parents that kids are getting little to no cursive in school. I think it's going to be a problem in 10 years when a boss scribbles something down and our kids can't read it, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's gone entirely in a generation.

My girls are in 6th grade, and haven't been taught cursive at all. They expressed an interest, since they see me all the time, so I'm teaching them to write it myself at home. It is sad to me, that so many won't know it.
