Default Ideas for my office....

So I just got a promotion (yay) and now have an office. What are some ideas I can use to decorate? I haven't made a hybrid project in a long time and think I want something to show off to maybe introduce digi scrapping/hybrid to others. TIA!

What about a calender, a dry erase board (10 pts for this months portfolio too), maybe a cd pen holder.

Oooh... congrats!!! Is it a "serious" place to work? I think a banner would be so cool hanging under the desk hutch...

Desk organizer... printing mini layouts and make a collage... cover daily planner...

no it isn't a too serious place to work. I work with people with disabilities so something "not so serious" can brighten things up. Thanks I will have to look into these!

A banner would look good and Sara did a blog post (I think it was last month) about turning cans into pencil pots etc.

...I'm afraid its out for publication... But literally collect random cans 'n cartons then cover them in your fave papers and add some sparkle, ribbon etc. Then when you redecorate, feel like a change or find new fave papers, or they get 'used', just recover!

My FAVORITE office-ish stuff are altered notebooks and little post-it note covers. I am forever making new post-it note covers. I have posted a tutorial for this somewhere on my blog. Let me know if you want it and I'll hunt it down.

Here's a link to a little notepad cover and covered post-it on my blog. It's not hybrid, but I make hybrid ones all the time too:

Here's the one I did. It doesn't have the post-its attached but I did post pictures of the base.

I do have those post it note covers coming out tomorrow - those would be great. And here is my version of the acrylic stand post it note holders - you can make the matching pens too!
