Default apparently I am not a themed kit shopper...

I bought Cindy's calendar temps today so I could start working on christmas gifts. I decided to start with holiday months first, figuring those would be easiest. Uhm, wrong. Apparently I don't buy themed kits. I have one halloween kit, one valentine's kit, and two christmas kits. No thanksgiving, no easter, no st patty's day, no 4th of july, nada.

Perfect excuse to go shopping, right? Anyone else in the same boat as me?

Perfect excuse to go shopping!

I'm in the same boat. I have 1 Halloween kit, 1 Easter kit and 3 Christmas kits. That's it.

October-Feb seems to be my biggest shopping time...I love Fall, Halloween, Christmas and Valentines Day kits the most!
I agree with the PP who said-SHOPPING TIME!

I'm not a themed scrapper for the most part. Being Jewish helps with christmas kits and I own quite a few halloween kits that I've never ever used!

I can be pursuaded with Valentines kits because they can be used on regular LOs for my kids.

I'm very much a theme scrapper. I love Halloween kits the most!

I am well-prepared for summer and fall since there were so many fabulous summer kits that I could not pass up and I simply love autumn themed kits. I think there was a collaboration in the spring that will work nicely for May, but it's on my EHD and I can't remember the name of it right now. It's the very end and the beginning of the year that I'm going to have to buy for, especially Christmas, winter and Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day.

Is everyone going for St. Pat's Day for March or do you have any other ideas?

I'm thinking a rain-themed kit for April, a spring kit for May.

I've already finished September and July. Yay for me!

I tend to do a lot of "generic" calendars. I'm not a huge theme scrapper either, so I just try to capture the colors of the month rather than a specific holiday.

Other than Christmas and Halloween I just use whatever kit goes best with my pictures. My parents and my sister don't want over the top themey cutesty calendars so it works for me.

ETA - use some pink, white and red in Feb and something green or springy for March. It will work!

Yeah, I've decided to just wait and see if any halloween kits inspire me, and otherwise just go seasonally. All the pics will be in black and white, so that doesn't really matter, lol
