I think you meant Food Network Star? I am a bit underwhelmed by them. There are no real standouts or consistently on the top people. The only people I have a positive affinity for are Orchid and Vic. That Penny girl could leave today and I would be thrilled. Watching the new episode right now. I compare everyone to Guy.

And see, we dislike Guy quite a lot, so if you're like him..we're automatically going to want you gone LOL.

I just don't like the pushed drama, no one is all that great, and I don't know why we keep watching. If Aiden hadn't asked to watch tonight, I would've not, but he loves watching people cook.

I can see how Guy can be grating and I can respect that. I would agree that the "drama" on this season is really annoying. Let's just cook and keep with the program people.

We only started it because Alton Brown was on the first episode...and for some reason, we keep turning in, even though it's awful.

Victoria - it's now in week 4 I think?

I usually LOVE this show and watch it as soon as they DVR but I have two in que right now I have not seen yet... there are a couple of annoying people and no one that is really fantastic imo yet.

Yeah, the show this season hasn't been great. I can tell I'm not feeling it personally, because I fast forward through so many of the contestants challenges. It's painful to watch Chris and Jyll and don't even get me started on Penny. Sheesh. What drama. I keep watching it, but I agree...not great (so far) this season.

hmm...good to know that the rest of them suck. But it's summer, and TV shows are very hard to come by! I'll probably just put the next few on while I scrap at night, that way I'm not investing too much of my time, LOL!

I don't like Guy, either. I do love Aarti (sp?) though - I've actually seen her show a few times

I didn't watch Sunday's episode yet b/c we just got home. I'm kind of 'eh' about this season too, yet I keep watching. So many w/o a personality!!
