Default Getting to know you

Hello everyone!
I'd like to say hello and welcome to all sweet members in our community, veteran members and new members.
Let's get to know each other and tell us about yourself.

I'll start
I am Eveline, best known as Eve. I am a wife to Kent (this year will be our 20th years together) and mom to 2 kids, Rafael (19 yo) and Rachel (16 yo).
Rafael is in second year of uni and Rachel, the baby, is in year 11.

Originally, we are from Indonesia, a country in South East Asia but we've lived in different countries and continents after Kent and I got married. A couple years in Singapore and 6 years in the US and we currently live in Adelaide, Australia.

I started scrapbooking after Rachel was born but I found digi not long after. I love the idea that I can save a layout when I'm not finished with a click without packing up all the embellishment and clean all paper pieces. So I switched over and never look back.

As a scrapbooker, I like a full page/layouts and I love elements along with scatters and paints and splatters.
And oh, I love photos! I believe that photos tell stories so my layouts mostly have photos in them.

I found Sweet Shoppe back in 2012 during the Summer Games, loved all the challenges and the community here so I call this is my digi home.

Now tell us about you! Youíll have until 11:59 pm on Monday, May 3rd to play along. Iíll choose one person at random to win a $10 SSD Gift Card.

I'm Anastasia. I grew up in Hawaii (24 years there!) and now live in Seattle, WA. I have a 10-year-old daughter, Kaelynn. I work as a Learning Specialist at a private school and love my job! Especially when my students "get it"! (But digital learning can kiss it! LOL)

I started paper scrapping eons ago. I also got into card-making. I have/had quite the paper/elements, etc. collection, but always felt bad using the best items, so I would horde things instead of using them!

Then, I discovered digital scrapbooking in 2006. At first, all of my pages were of my dog and my [now ex-]husband & I. With digital scrapbooking - I love being able to use the same button/flower/element over and over and over. I also love coordinating pages for albums. However, that hasn't helped my scrapbook hoarding, lol!

When I had my daughter in 2011, bam, game-over for my pages! Not that dogs and [ex]husbands aren't great topics for scrapping too!

I love, love, love flowers & greenery! I'm also a fan of paint splatters.

I started scrapping at SSD many, many moons ago but spent most of my scrapping time at another community. However, when that community closed, I knew SSD would be waiting with open arms!

I'm Angie and I've been here since like 2007/2008 :P Been so long I don't remember! I am a retired Navy gal after spending 20 years in the good ole USN (retired in 2011) and I just recently quit my job at the VA (taking care of veterans) and am COMPLTELY RETIRED! BUT, I still have 3 kids at home (Ben-20, Abby-15 & Peyton -13) and my oldest, Sam, is 28 and living in Canada with her husband since 2015.

I've been a scrapper since the early 90's , but found the digi world in 2006ish and have never looked back (even though I love to dabble in making mini paper albums)

I've been married to Matt for 29 years this year and we call the Blue Ridge Mountains in VA home.

I LOVE all the elements in every kit I buy and usually find a way to get everything on my page! I'm also all about telling the good, the bad & the ugly. With a son with Autism, 2 kids with depression/anxiety & my own personal demons I believe it's extremely important to document all of it and be as transparent as possible.

Love your comments so far ladies! I found digital scrapping in 2008 and have been a designer here at SSD for almost 3 years now! Love our SSD family!

I live in Alabama with my husband of 15 years and 4 kids. When I'm not designing I'm reviewing math sessions for an online tutoring company. I love board games, Zumba, hiking, reading and baking.

I'm Kelly and I am back!! Career and Covid took me away for a little while but am excited about this weekend to get back my groove!! I am married to Richard and we have one kid, Mickey, who has been gone for almost a whole year to the University of Houston. Every day I feel like my best friend has left but I get to see the kid regularly and for that I am grateful!

We live just north of Dallas in the country known as Texas!

I started paper scrapping the year before Mickey was born and my first subject was my dog. About 7 or 8 years ago I went digital and found this place. I have been off and on ever since. What keeps me coming back is the sense of community.

I love the stories my pictures tell and I like to find kits that match my subjects. I adore the girlie kits but have no use for them, except on the very, very rare occasion when I can get a selfie of myself that I like or someone gets a picture of me. So rare...

Good Luck to everyone this weekend!

I'm Patty Anne - justPattyAnne everywhere in digiland.

I'm a 50 something widow, mom of my 18 year old dot, fur mom to 3 doggos living in the piney woods of Northeast TX... a scenic lil B&B town situated between 2 lakes.

I've kept scrapbooks since I was in elementary school. I was doing some digital stuff when it was still DOS and clipart in WordPerfect... just to further cement how ancient I am!

I've been shopping here since SSD opened their doors, but have only been actively participating and posting my pages here for the past couple of months.

Everyone has been so encouraging and I love it here! Looking forward to the iNSD festivities!

Hi I am Sharon. I have been scrapping since 2000 (paper) and went digi in 2010. I just recently checked out SSD.

I live in New orleans, LA with my hubby of 36 years and 2 dogs and 2 cats! I live down the street from my youngest daughter (30), hubby and grandson. My oldest daughter (31) lives in Japan and is a pre school teacher.

I love sharing pages of my family and grandson (1 yr) and my animals.

I am Lisa, AKA slfam. I was an avid paper scrapper until I realized how much less space digi-scrapping takes up. That was about 6 years ago. Now I just need to clear out an entire room of paper supplies!

I grew up in the Seattle area and am hoping to retire the the PNW some day - if I can afford it. I currently live in the Midwest. I am an empty nester after raising 4 biological sons and 2 adopted daughters. I have been married to my sweetheart for over 30 years now. He is my rock!

I love hiking, camping, reading, crocheting and of course scrapping. Unfortunately, I buy more kits than I scrap lately. I am always in the middle of sooo many projects and my son just asked me to scrap a book of his mission to Ghana. So... another project to work on. So many pictures, so little time to scrap.

I'm Lynn, a stay-at-home mom of three blue-eyed cuties; hence the 3BluEyedBabies UN! I'm married to my high school sweetheart. We started dating at 16, took a little break, and started dating again at 19, the rest, as they say, is history! My oldest daughter, Avery is 17. She keeps me on my toes! She already knows she wants to be a chef and had been attending a half-day program for that instead of full-day high school. My oldest son, Collin, is 13. He is just Mr. Joe Cool! He is very laid back and hilarious! My youngest, Austin, is 10. He is our miracle heart baby. He was born with a congenital heart defect and had surgery at 4 days old. He is exactly like his older sister, and keeps me on my toes! I worked for years at a nursing home taking care of elderly residents, but once I had all 3 kids, I decided to stay home. I went back to work doing home care about 5 years ago, but once my client passed, I decided to take some time off because of covid.

I love gardening and reading. I can usually be found most evenings at one of my kids ball games or cross country meets. I love the beach as well as the mountains. Someday, I hope to be able to move out of PA and closer to the water! Most of my scrapbook pages of my kids and our adventures as a family.

Hey there. I'm Lťa (pronounce like the Princess Leia from Star Wars).
I'm from France and came to the US to be an au pair. I met my now husband during that time and never went back to France. That was 15 years ago!!

We have a French Bulldog named Gaston. And 3 daughters (6,4,2) who keeps us very busy! We met in DC, moved near Seattle for 10 years and moved to Baltimore, Maryland 2 years ago.

I love scrapbooking (obviously) and I have a lot of other hobbies but I don't spend too much time doing anything else. I love taking pretty photos.

I'm Kellie. I am an American expat living in the Philippines. I've been married to Joel for 21 years, and we have three kids: Jack, 16, Max, 13, and Ariana, 8. Plus, we have two cats that I don't scrap nearly as much as I want to, and a dog, who is adorable but stupid.

I made my first scrapbook 30 years ago, and I discovered digi scrapping when I was pregnant with Jack in 2004. I scrap to document our lives, but I really just want to make layouts about the things I love: Harry Potter, the MCU, Sherlock, Agatha Christie novels, vampire love stories and trips to the beach.

Hi, I am Desi. I am a Georgia girl who relocated to Pennsylvania almost two years ago. I married my high school sweetheart and we've been married almost 17 years. We have a 12 year old daughter. I have homeschooled her so far, but she's going to be starting public school this fall.

I found digiscrapping when I wanted to document our Disney vacations. Though I do occasionally scrap other types of pages, Disney pages are still my favorite to make. I also enjoy baking, watching Atlana Braves baseball and football (also hockey is growing on me now that we moved somewhere that has winter), and traveling as much as possible. I have been became an avid cycler since the end of last year and I love to do yoga.

Hi! I'm Lisa, I live at beautiful Bribie Island on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. I have a 13 year old and an 11 year old, who are the subjects of the majority of my layouts.

I started scrapbooking after finding a scrapbooking magazine just after I had my first child. I bought that magazine every month after that and was addicted. I paper scrapped until the magazine had a free disc with 4 full digi kits on it as well as beginners tutorials in the magazine. At the time I was about 6 months pregnant with my second and Miss 1 and a half loved to try and get into everything so I was constantly pulling it out to scrap at nap time/bed time and putting it all back away when she woke up. (plus that belly was getting in the way) I tried that disc and was instantly addicted!

I like to use lots of flowers, leaves and paints on my papers - even for my sons layouts. I like the depth they bring to my layouts.

I'm Jennifer. I've scrapbooked since I was a kid and started digital in 2005. I loved all my paper and stickers and tools but once I had kids, it was too much to drag out and put away. And expensive!! I have 11 and 15 yr old boys and a cat and a SO that occupy most of my pages. We live in western Michigan about 45 minutes from Lake Michigan. I've been lucky to be working from home for the last year so I can scrap on my lunch. I didn't do much scrapbooking for a few years so I have LOTS to catch up on!!!!

I'm Kim from Perth, Western Australia.

I've been married to Tom for 26 years and we have 3 grown up children, Haydn (25), Emily (23) and Taylah (21). The two girls have recently moved out of home so our lives are in a real state of transition. Our dog is my constant companion and we are hoping to add a puppy to our family in the next month or so.

I work as a casual / relief / substitute teacher and that is keeping me very busy this year, so much so that I'm finding it hard to keep up with everything and find time for scrapping.

My scrapbooking journey began in the early 2000s when my kids were young. I took up paper scrapping and loved it, lived and breathed it for nearly 10 years. I was on design teams, taught classes, was published in scrapbook magazines and I never went anywhere without my camera. In 2009 I lost my Mum and then in 2010 we moved house. I lost my scrapping mojo in that time and it was just too much effort to get out all the paper mess no matter how badly I wanted to... Fast forward a few years and I decided to give digiscrapping a go - what a revelation that was! I finally found a way to scrap my photos without the physical mess and without adding to the already huge stack of albums on my shelves. I don't scrap as much as I would like to and I don't take as many photos as I did previously but I do love digiscrapping and I do love SSD ❤️.

Oh I love reading all these!!

I'm Wendy 35 years old and mother of 3 kids, two daughters (ages 8 & almost 14) and one son (age 12). After being together for 14 years I finally married the love of my life, so we are happily living in the Netherlands.

I discovered digital scrapbooking in 2008 wich I loved so much that I wanted to learn more so I started designing my own collections in 2011. But it is since 2016 that I joined this sweetest place and it is my only job. Next to designing I still love to scrap a lot when I find the time. I already finished and printed four beautiful albums...

I'm also Eve I'm married with 2 daughters, 10 and 12. We live in Denmark. I love my family, my cats, cooking, and tabletop gaming.

Scrapwise I tend to like paints and transfers mixed with big, dimensional elements, and lots of colour!

I’m Heide and I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida with my husband of nearly 30 years (wow) and our 6 year old grandson B. I have 2 grown kiddos too.
By day I am a social worker and my current job is to coordinate therapy services for a birth to,3 program. It’s really great!
I have been scrapping forever and found digi scrapping right when it started. I was on some fabulous teams until I took a break to raise B. I have recently started back and really enjoy this Sweet Place

Hi, I'm Jema. After many years of living all over the world. Our family of four finally settled in the Midwest, we've been here almost 20 years.

I've been scrapbooking for many years, but found digi scrapping in 2012 when I dislocated vertebrae in my back and couldn't lift my paper scrap stuff into the car to scrap with girl friends.

Hey everyone. I'm Kiana. lol
Been around for awhile now, started with just lurking then finally signed up to the forum.
I love SSD and call this my digi-home even though I flitter about to a couple other sites sometimes.
Wife - mom - furmom - daughter, aunt, sister...etc and so on lol

I love digiscrapping and have been doing this since 2009. I never paper scrapped and I can't fathom the thought of lugging out all the supplies everytime I wanted to create.

My style I'd call traditonal adventurer. lol. I love to cluster and journal with my photos, but have been known to venture into art journal, eclectic, minimalist and daydreamer styles too. I'm always game to try something digiscrap related at least once!

This is fun. I love getting to know more about our SSD community members ♥

I am biancka. I am married to Edwin (since 2004) and I am mom to Jasper who is 17 years old and is just such a delightful teenager! Jasper is in 4HavoTTO and hopefully he'll be graduating from that school next year. Fingers crossed.

I am from The Netherlands. I was born in Swifterbant a few years ago and we now life in a town in the east of the Netherlands called Warnsveld. I moved here with my parents in 1982. I pretty much lived in Warnsveld since 1982 but moved to Zutphen (our big city) in 1995 and moved back to Warnsveld in 1999. Haven't left Warnsveld since but we are househunting and we might just be moving out of Warnsveld soon (allthough I am pretty torn up about that but we'll see).

I started scrapbooking in 2006. I was already creative with PSP before that and created signature tags but that was getting a bit boring so when my friend Jenna told me about digital scrapbooking, I was sold. I did try paper scrapbooking for a very short time too but no, too messy

As a scrapper I have developed from the clean & simple without flowers style to major clusters with as much flowers as possible. LOL I do love a lot of messy paint in the background and scatterz are so much fun too! I still find journaling very tricky and also layouts with tons of photos but that's mostly because my son is 17 and he hasn't allowed me to take photos of him in a very long time so I keep re-using my old photos and luckily I have a ton of cute young Jasper photos

I had to check but I registered at SSD in June 2007 so I've been a member for almost 14 years! I love it here. I think this community has the most amazing & supportive members and the Bingo card challenges always made me step outside my scrapping box which I need for sure.

Hello I'm Cheryl - wife to Mike for almost 18 years, we were high school sweethearts who did 4 years of college apart and our first year married mostly apart lol. We have 3 kids - an almost 15 year old, 13 year old, and 11 year old.
I started scrapbooking with paper in high school in the late 90s and kept up with that through college and until I discovered digital scrapbooking around 2008/09
I love a good template and making them my own, along with lots of photos and journaling. I have a lot of soccer pictures on my pages too because both my boys play almost year round, and they and my husband ref games so we spend a lot of time at soccer.

Hello! I'm Jenn. I grew up in Texas, but have lived as an adult in New Mexico, Utah, Georgia, and Indiana. I have 5 boys and 1 girl from 19 years old to 5 years old. I have paper scrapbooked since I was a teenager, and switched to digital 11 years ago. Other than scrapbooking, I love outdoors, puzzles, board games, and baking. During the day, I keep the house afloat and nanny for some cute little ones. If I could have my dream vacation, it would be travelling to the Redwood Forest and just enjoy the beauty for a week (I'll get there someday!).

This game is fun Eve, so interesting to know each others!

I'm Emily, I'm 37 years old, single mom of twin, a boy and a girl aged 8 years old. I live in France in Loire Valley in a small town but live for 32 years in Paris. It miss me for a lot's of point but there's advantages to live here's too.

I'm a stay at home mum for now.

I love to scrap but miss time to do it as I would want and don't take enough "me time" I guess. Today is kind of exceptional day! lol!
I start paper scrapping a long time ago, I even don't remember when I started, maybe in 2000. Then I fell in love with Digi about in 2008-2009 I think.
I took a break in 2012 when I was pregnant with my babies and come back in 2016.
I try to improve my skills because I really want to scrap more but my software is very poor.

I receive a better camera for Christmas 2019 (looks like it's been forever) and since I try to do better pictures especially of my kids. My son just hate it and my daughter try to make me happy with posing for me. I admit I'm a mamarazzi!

In my family, nobody scrap so I did my layouts mostly for my kids but now I noticed my family is always asking me if I don't have any pics of an old event or so and they are happy to see some memories scrapped.

I met beautiful person here's and they're truly friend for me! Love to chat with them!
I think the community here's is lovely and I truly appreciate this virtual place even if I don't participate too much on the forum, I love reading the threads.
I'd love have more time to write!

I love to draw but totally stop since a long time now. I used to have lot's of penpals too but stop too.

I'm very happy it's iNSD today, I love the game and the celebrations events! Thank for all the team to bring us some festive and fun time in the actual situation, it's really good!

I want to play as well.

Hi everyone!
I'm Sarah. In Dutch Saar is the short version of Sarah, so now you know how I got my username.
I'm 37 years old and I live in Belgium.
I work in the communication department of our local governement. So yeah, with this whole pandemic stuff, we had A LOT of extra work. It has been a crazy year!
I've been digi scrapping since January 2010. Thanks to Cindy's templates, I discovered Sweet Shoppe Designs. This is my digi home and I became an active member in 2014 and I never left. My dream of becoming a babe came true at the end 2017.

I met some amazing and kind people here, from all over the world, which I'm happy to call my friends.
My dream now is to meet some of them in real life.

Hi everyone. I'm Rae aka bcgal00. I'm married to my best friend, Darrell, and have 3 grown children, 4 grandkids and one itty bitty great grandkid. We're on the west coast of British Columbia (a suburb of Vancouver). I work at home (medical transcription) part time and spend a lot of time with my dogs, Taz (mini labradoodle) and Remi (4 mth old mini aussie). Scrapping, reading and binge watching youtube, netflix and on demand/PVR shows is my down time, my time to relax. We had a big scare with Remi as she was deathly sick for the first 6 wks we had her but I'm happy to say she seems to be coming out of it and thriving now. Puppy training is exhausting but so much fun.

I'm a foodie, was on a keto/paleo plan for yrs and then this year switched to vegetarian/plant based. I have never been a big meat eater and after missing the carbs for so long, I decided to try it out and found it works so well for me. My lab work is the best its been in soooo many years and if it keeps up, I may be able to go off the thyroid medication I've been on for about 8 yrs. I watch a lot of Youtube for meal ideas and planning and have bought tons of books from amazon. This all keeps me pretty busy with life.

I'm happy to be hanging out this wkend here b/c life was so hectic for this last little while and I really felt out of the loop. Glad I'm inching my way back in again I love SSD and have been around since 2009.

Hello everyone!

I'm Jennifer aka iScrap. I'm the big 5-0, and have twin 16-year old girls who think they're 30. My family is from Armenia, but I am first-generation American born.

I found Sweet Shoppe back in 2011. I took a break from scrapbooking for a few years when my girls actually wanted to spend time with me. Now that that phase is over, I'm back to my favorite hobby and enjoying every minute of it. I dabble in hybrid crafts, but was never a paper scrapper. I can't imagine having all that stuff around, either! Digital is nice and neat and compact and no one else sees the mess on my hard drive except for me.

I am Stacy. I've been married to Robert for almost 17 years and we have a 15 y/o daughter named Rachel. We currently have 2 dogs, Mabel & Henry.
I'm originally from Texas, but we live in Oklahoma. I used to teach but have been a SAHM since Rachel was a baby. I'll be looking to go back to work later this fall, if the job climate allows.
I was gifted paper scrapping supplies as a bridal shower gift in 2004, but scissors and glue apparently weren't my thing. I became adept at purchasing everything, but that's it. One day I went searching online for a Radio Flyer tricycle-type sticker (for an album that I'd never do), and a Google search brought up a Julie Billingsley kit here at SSD. I have been scrapping digitally ever since.
I love templates, foliage, and buttons WITH stitches in the holes. I hoard fonts. I have all o fmy photos and digi stash uploaded to the Amazon Cloud...several TB worth. Everything from the freebies that I downloaded after scouring the IkeaGoddess blog and Atomic Cupcake site, to the new stuff that I still buy after watching the weekly new releases. I don't scrap nearly as much as I used to (sad to say), but I still love the community.

My name is Dawn. I am a SAHM to 4 girls (all "teenagers" now- college freshman, High School Senior, High School Junior, 8th grade). I have lived in MI all my life. Australia is my dream vacation.

I enjoy travel, reading, waterfalls, all things DISNEY, photography and spending time with my family. I love planning trips for ourselves and others.

I paper scrapped from Middle School until 2006 when we got our 1st Digital Camera. It's been digi since then! My college student took a Photoshop class this past semester and it's been fun learning a few new things from her!

My favorite pages to scrap are portraits of the girls and travel pages! My hardest pages to scrap are holidays (birthdays, Christmas, 4th of July parades, etc). My fav elements are flowers and greenery (I love vines). I enjoy journal cards because it forces me to have a space for journaling, but sometimes can be annoying if my journaling is too much for the card, or I have to embellish to fill the card.

These are so fun to read!

I'm Nikki. I've been married to Butch for 15 years (16 in June), and we have two girls: Molly is 13, and Charlotte is 10. We live Missouri, originally on the SE side in what's known as the "Bootheel" of the state, but we moved across the SW side (most well known for the Joplin tornado of 2011) almost seven years ago. We definitely prefer this side of the state to the other one (except St. Louis, which will forever have my heart), but the dream at this point is to move somewhere more liberal after retirement. Denver is a strong contender because my sister lives in that area, but I wouldn't mind a milder climate, like maybe San Diego.

Even though I'm kind of counting down to retirement, it's only because of having my retirement fund wrapped up in this state; I could definitely see myself continuing to teach wherever we eventually decide to relocate to. I'm currently finishing up my 17th year as a high-school English teacher, and I cannot dream of leaving teaching, even after this insane year. I'm also the assistant coach for the Speech & Debate Team and the faculty sponsor for the Gender and Sexuality Alliance.

Work and my kids keep me plenty busy, but I've been really trying to carve out more space for my hobbies in 2021. In addition to doing digital scrapbooking, I'm also into photography and have a semi-secret wish to start a side hustle as a photographer, but I don't know that I'll ever have the time to truly commit to that unless I give up coaching, so for now, I practice on my family and take on occasional senior portrait gigs when kids/parents ask. I also love to read and write (English teacher prerequisites, lol), as well as go to the movies, and I enjoy all kinds of live shows, from plays to musicals to concerts to comedians.

I started digiscrapping kind of by accident; I never paper scrapped, and I never intended to digiscrap. One of the moms on a pregnancy/baby group I joined when I was pregnant with my first kid shared a site she used to make a "fancy" signature for herself, and it was basically a free digiscrapping site. I started playing around with it to make my own "fancy" signature for that forum, and then I was hooked. It didn't take me long to figure out I could do so much more than what that little free site allowed, so dove into the internet, found a ton of freebies, got PSE, and started going to town on my daughter's baby book. That was in 2008, and it's still hard to believe I've been scrapping for 13 years now.

H! I am Kimberly. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 19 years. We have two boys 10 and 16. I grew up in Virginia but moved to Texas the year after we got married. We haven't looked back.

I did a lot of paper scrapping/card making with creative memories and Stampin Up! before moving over to digi. I was a designer for several years but took time off to focus on family more. I just started posting my pages here at SS in 2020. I am so happy to be here and meeting all kinds of new faces and seeing some familiar ones as well.

my name is Joanne and I am from Ontario Canada, we can get all four seasons in a week! I am first generation Canadian, with my parents coming over from England. I think deep in my heart I belong there as I can't get enough of anything to do with the UK, lol.

I have a 23 year old son who has a few more classes left and then he will get his second Advanced diploma. It's been a long haul for school and we both can't wait for it to end, lol. He is anxiously waiting to get a 'real' career and find his own place.

I am also proudly owned by a chocolate Lab named Harlow. She features in many of my layouts as I have no humans to photograph.

In my work life I am a Youth Worker/Counselor at a high school and have been doing this job for 30 years now. I started out mainly with students who have learning and or behaviour designations but now I do a lot of work with Mental Health Diagnoses.

I started out paper scrapping and found digi scrapping by accident while designing incredimail backgrounds. Think it was 2008 I discovered digi.....

My favourite pages are definitely one photo and clusters. I have grown into doing more pocket pages though.

Hi! I am Claire, I am English and I live in NYC!!

I hate the cold, love the sun and hope to move to Tampa before the end of 2021.
I am a born and bred Londoner and if I could live anywhere in the world it would be Amsterdam, after my hometown that is my fave place in the world.

I became a digi scrapper in March 2020 and it has been a whirlwind of fun, learning, fun, fun. I joined Em's Nifty Gals in March 2021 and that was and still is an unbelievable achievement after only a year and I love it!

I am married to the most ridiculous man on the planet! He is awesome and takes the very best care of me in every single way. We don't do kids, so we have fur children instead and at the moment we just have one Cat - Clint Catwood. Both Hubby and Clint appear in my pages alot (as do I).

I am also a cardmaker, that is my first love, I love paper and stamping.

IRL I am a project manager, so I am super organized and irritating to others with my constant non-stop planning and organizing!

Hello, I am Leah. Happily married with 3 daughters ages 21, 18, and 9.

Originally from the Philippines, I emigrated to the USA in 1995. I work full time in the Information Technology department at a small manufacturing company.

I started paper scrapping when my first child was born and then found digital around 2008 (I think) but it took me a few months before I converted 100% to digital probably because I had way too many paper scraps that I wasn't ready to part with. LOL.

I found SSD since it was born but started out as a lurker and eventually participated in games, challenges, and currently CTing for 2 amazing designers here. Totally love it here and I'm one of many who call this my digi home.

I am a mother of 3 boys (18 in August , 15 in a few days and 5 in September)

I started digiscrap about 18 years ago when I had my first boy and recently I took over the paper/hybrid scrapbooking, I needed to find something that kept me busy during the first lockdown and playing with the paint, cutting... it relaxes me! (Hands full of paint/glue, itís funny! )

I love reading these!

I'm Lori - full time 6th grade teacher about to finish up year 33. I'm a single mom to 3 - AJ (24), Noah (21) and Ben (20) plus 2 fur kids - our kitties Maru and Gizmo.
In addition to my job and digiscrapping, I started a craft business back in 2019 and have been growing it over the course of the last couple of years. I create signs, other types of home decor, t-shirts, etc. I love the creative outlet, and I'm planning to keep going with this once I retire from teaching in a few years.
After the death of my ex-husband in 2017 from a rare form of cancer that had been diagnosed only weeks earlier, I decided that I needed to focus on experiences rather than things - and I've since done a fair amount of traveling around the US and into Canada as well. Life is short, and I don't want to waste any of the time I have left.
I discovered digital scrapbooking after receiving a digital camera for my 40th birthday... and I'll be 56 next month. I took some time off for a couple of years in the middle, but I posted my first LO here in 2012 and have become more active in the last year or 2.

Hi, everyone! It's been fun to read about everyone!

I'm Rachel. I've been married to Dan for 22 years. (Am I really old enough to have been married that long? ) We have 3 kids. Jason is 17, Ben is 15, and Lauren is 12. We live in Virginia, in a suburb of Washington, DC.

Our 15 year old has a genetic disorder, Smith-Magenis Syndrome. The super-short explanation is that it's a like cross between autism and Down's Syndrome, though his specific traits are stronger on the autism side. I work part time so that I'm home when he's home. I'm a preschool teacher, and I love my little guys! My school isn't meeting in person this year, so I've also started subbing in the elementary schools. (Pre-kids I worked in education then transitioned to public health, but teaching is a lot more compatible with parenting a kid with special needs.)

I've been digiscrapping since 2004, when my oldest was about 5 months old. I still scrap a lot, but I rarely post layouts in the gallery or on IG anymore. I love to read, so my background "noise" while scrapping is to listen to audiobooks.

I'm Trish and live in Memphis, Tennessee. I have six kids ranging from about to be 17 to about to be 3, and 5 of them are boys. (My daughter is cool with being the only girl.) I have been married for 15 years and with my husband for 18 years. (We started dating in high school.) Next year will be my first year to have every single one of my children in school. I had a hysterectomy in December, and weaned my youngest then also, so I am basically starting a whole new chapter of my life and motherhood.

I have been digital scrapbooking since 2007, and was even buying things before my oldest page here was posted in 2009. I was a SugarBabe for several years, but was forced into a few years hiatus from scrapbooking when my computer died and I couldn't find a reliable free replacement or afford to replace it.

I am Alycia, wife to Allen (this year we'll be married 45 years), mom of two: Chris (42) and Erin (38) and grandma of three: Jackson (16), Lyndi (13) and Evelyn (6). (And dog mom of one schnoodle, Molly.)

I am originally from Illinois, have lived in 3 other states along the way before settling in Indiana 30+ years ago. I'm a retired software engineer and, until the Pandemic , really enjoyed spending lots of time with our kids & grandkids, taking lots of photos during those visits and then digi-scrapping an annual family scrapbook. Now I rely on video chats and on my daughter & daughter-in-law to share photos with us for our annual scrapbook, but hopefully soon we'll be able to visit again in person.

I've been scrapbooking since I was about 12 years old and I still have that scrapbook (it has a poodle on the cover). It has newspaper clippings about family members. Then I graduated to writing journals and taking photos when we went on vacation. I made a wedding book and two baby books when our kids were born. I did paper scrapping until about 2004 when our first grandchild was born and we got our first digital camera. I've been digi-scapping ever since, using Paint Shop Pro as my main scrapping tool.

I love pages filled with photos to remember our all of our family's activities. I joined SSD in January 2018, but didn't post my first layout until December 2018. I've especially enjoyed SSD's Birthday celebration challenges for the last couple of years.

I also love family history so I've been scanning my parents and grandparents photos and making heritage books to share with family members. I've been sharing the digital photos with my cousins so there's a better chance we won't lose them!

Hello scrappy friends!

I am Angela, just hit my fabulous 50 in Sept, an Air Force Veteran, and married 15 years so far with infinity to go

My passion is photography which I've been doing both as a hobby and profession since 1993. My favorite days are when I can be alone out in nature with my camera totally immersed in seeing and exploring my next photo. I'm also a Realtor for almost 11 years now.

I started paper scrapping and still enjoy it, but I really enjoy digital scrapping and started about 8 or 9 years ago, but it's only been the last few years that I've really hit it hard.

If I have any spare time I love to read and sew, and I'm learning French through duolingo. Au Revoir!

Hi, I am Lily. I am a mother to two wonderful boys. I am from the UK and still live in the same town I grew up in.

I started scrapbooking a few years ago and was reluctant to share any of my layouts in galleries for a long while. My scrapbooking style is traditional. I like to mix templates to create something new. My favourite scrapbook tool are flowers. I think they make or break a template.

I found Sweet Shoppe a few years ago and lurked and bought kits but never shared anything because I wasn't confident. I'm still not as confident as I would like to be but I'm working towards that. I really don't like to put the spotlight on myself. I tend to scrap about my boys and rarely about myself.

My other hobbies include, arts and crafts, reading and decorating.

Hi! I'm Sheana, pronounced She-na. My husband, Jamie and I celebrated our 20th anniversary this year. We have two daughters - Gabriella (19) and Annika (almost 17). We live in tiny town in Southeastern Ohio and have 3 cats and 3 dogs.

I started digital scrapbooking forever ago - I think I started late 2004/early 2005. I was never a paper scrapbooker, but have been hooked with digital since the very beginning. I joined SSD shortly after its inception and this has been my scrappy home ever since.

hey hey ladies
My name is Cynthia, have been scrapping for over 10 years in main stream sites,.
I live in London, England , with my daughter Sarita who is now 25, I grew up between Brazil & Argentina, but home to me is with a heart split between London and north east Brazil, where we lived with my (British) husband and Sarita until she was 5,.
I was born paralyzed, didn't walk till I was 5 years old, had 9 surgeries from birth to 8 years old, was told I would never be able to dance, ride horses, a bike or even climb stairs and have children....
but I was very determined to prove them wrong, so I did. All of the above
I was told at age 16 (mid 1970s so, Patty Anne, I am more ancient than you, my dear!!!! LOL ) that I would one day need an operation that was then in experimental phase but, they were sure, would be routine by the time I needed.
And it was,
I had the first hip replacement in January 2003, but it went terribly wrong, 4 more operations trying to fix the initial error failed miserably.... Sarita was 6 years old when I went in, my mum had come for 3 months to help, ended up staying almost a year, I was left with nerve damage, a bunch of metal inside, and a variety of health conditions which I have been livng with since...... so the scrapping became one of the most treasured things I have...not just the scrapping which is therapy for sure, but the friendships I have made, many I have met in person, but even the ones whom I have not...
some of you know I owe you big time, with all my heart.
I also have some neurological issues which make my life a bit difficult reading and writing, hence why you wont see me posting much in the forums, but have been doing the challenges since last year and loving every minute...
I have to admit I came for Rubia, which has been one of my most favorite designers since 2010 or 11, but in the process discovered a bunch of designers I had no idea existed and LOVE them, which is great as I have been through the challenges making pages for some books we want to print.
I love full on pages, both traditional and Art Journal, love elements packs that bring new stuff or very themed ones, love pocket pages with a twist, anything and everything, really, I even learned to love blank space in the past few years, but to me, if I can stick almost the whole elements pack in one page...I am a happy bunny LOL
I love so many scrappers here, I wish I could clone myself to scrap more and be able to be in the gallery a lot more!
OK, better stop here or you ll be bored already.

Hello! I'm Dani and I live in Canada. I have two kids (15 and 12) and my husband and I have been married for 20 years this year! I started digiscrapping in 2009 when I discovered it after being frustrated that I couldn't use my own fonts on Shutterfly. I loooove fonts! I don't get a ton of time for scrapbooking but I'm hoping to get back into it now that the kids are older and don't need me as much. I tend to do pages with a lot of photos and I like to do two-page layouts. I tend to scrap events and I do albums for each year but I am really behind! I also do scrapbook pages for my calendars and I love using Cindy's templates for that (and everything else).

I have lived in Alabama my entire life. I am a soon to be 38 year old stay at home mom. I've been married to Scott for 19 years this September. I have two sons and one daughter. My boys are soon to be 12 and 8 in November. My daughter just turned 4. We are currently doing virtual school. Cole is in the 6th grade, Cade is in the 1st grade, and Ava is also in the 1st grade. It's definitely interesting around here! Other than digital scrapbooking. I make shirts, cups, door hangers, and other stuff. I also have a dog and turtle.

My name is Lidia. I live in Quebec, Canada and I have 3 grown sons ( 35, 33, 29)and one stepson (33). I am a grandmother to Annabelle who is 3 1/2 and Tyson who is 18 months old. My youngest lives on the other side of the country in Victoria, BC whom I miss so much and my stepson lives in the Maritimes. I'm recently retired and the best part is not having to get up at a specific hour. I paper scrapped for about 2 years and then one day, a little over a year ago I discovered digi scrapping and haven't look back since. No more sticky glue fingers and bits of everything all over the place. I love templates and taking part in challenges. I own a little parrot named Coco who is great entertainment. He loves chewing on cardboard and paper so while I digi scrap he entertains himself by paper scrapping! I love gardening and spending time in my garden in the summer. Once this pandemic is over my husband and I would like to travel and see some of the wonders of the world before we're too old to do it.

My name is Julie. I live in the Salt Lake Valley (Salt Lake City) in the great state of Utah in the United States. I've lived in Utah all my live, save for 18 months in Belgium and France. Yes, I speak French.
I have been married to Jeff (we met in Nancy, France and no he is not French. He is American, too.) for 20 years this July. We have four children: Clara (17), Anna (15), Derek (13), and Jane (11) and a cockapoo puppy named Percy (5 months). They all speak French (not the dog!), as well, thanks to a French Dual Immersion program in our school district.
I love to read, go camping, travel, be in nature, crochet, watch a variety of TV shows with my husband and children, and of course, scrapbook.
I have a Earth Science Secondary Education degree.
