Question How do you eat...

... Eggs?

I don't know why, I'm just curious. People seem to be very specific about how they like their eggs. Scrambled, over easy, poached, hard boiled, s&p, salt only, with hot sauce, with ketchup, or... They HATE eggs and avoid them.

So... Tell me how you like 'em. Or don't.

I don't eat them unless they are in something like brownies or cookies.

I like them most ways but if you fry them please put a bit of water on the bottom of the pan so they don't get that horrible crusty stuff on the bottom please and thank you

I loved fluffy scrambled eggs and over-hard fried eggs, both with ketchup.

Devilled eggs are one of the best inventions ever for family gathering.

I'm not a fan of poached eggs or "country-style", aka slightly runny scrambled eggs. Bleh.

I love eggs. I eat them pretty much daily. I love them fried in a smidge of coconut oil over medium and sometimes if I'm at a good breakfast place where they know how to make eggs i get them over easy with runny yolks (good for dipping bacon!). I also love them with salt and pepper. DH eats them with season salt and Crystal hot sauce (gag).

I will pretty much eat an egg cooked any way. Except scrambled so fluffy that the texture is foamy.

I agree, deviled eggs are the best!

I like them scrambled firm, and dirty, i.e. with stuff in them like cheese, peppers, onions, bacon/sausage, etc. I rarely eat them any other way now although, as a child I ate them runny.

over easy with toast. Dip the toast in the egg yolk and cut off a piece of egg to eat with the toast. Second way ham & cheese omelette.

I'm not a big fan of eggs, I can eat them if I don't think about what they are. If I do eat them, it's egg salad, deviled or the ones McDonald's puts on their bagel sandwiches. That's it. I'm a weird eater.

I've never met an egg I didn't like. I never use ketchup or hot sauce on them. We typically only use egg whites at home, but we mix it up sometimes.

Soft boiled is my favorite, but I like fried, scrambled and just about any other way. Not crazy about the "squeaky" feeling poached, though.

I have never liked them and can remember my mother making me sit at the table all morning and wouldn't let me leave until I ate them and she cooked them sunnyside up!!! We get through a lot of eggs in our house, scrambled and often added to breakfast wraps, dry fried with a lid on so the centres are runny, hard boiled for lunches and snacks or mashed for sandwiches, soft boiled with toast or asparagus and carrots to dip in them, we have never really mastered poaching them and have never tried to bake them. Omelettes and frittatas are always a quick easy dinner around here. MIne usually have lots of vegetables in them, some combination of mushrooms, peppers, onions, broccoli, kale, spinach, potato and cheese sometimes with chicken/bacon/ham whatever needs to be used up. Mark likes them with meat and mushrooms no cheese and Lukas likes pizza omelettes mozzarella, pepperoni/chorizo and mushrooms/peppers. Hugs Crystal x

scrambled, fried (EVERYTHING cooked... none of that runny center grossness), deviled, omelets, or hard-boiled in a salad or egg salad.

I eat a lot of eggs... and I really don't like them, haha... my hubby loves eggs and toast so we have it every Saturday. Mine have to be scrambled with loads of veggies and eat it on toast so I can "gag" it down. If I'm at iHOP and scrambled comes plain, I load on the hot sauce... otherwise I'm all over an egg white omelet with tomatoes, spinach and feta cheese... as long as I don't get the texture of eggs, I'm cool...

I'm a big fan of eggs. They are the perfect protein!

I typically eat a single scrambled egg every morning for breakfast. I microwave it for the convenience factor (and to save a dish since I can eat it in the one I cook it in). I also love boiled eggs, fried eggs - either fried hard on a breakfast sandwich or over medium.

I love eggs with cheese, eggs with just a little salt, eggs with ketchup and eggs mixed in with other foods.

I think every way except Sunny Side Up.

But if they are fried, I have to have either grits or hashbrowns to mix them with. IF they're fried hard, they have to be on a sandwich. LOL!

We eat a lot of eggs due to having about 3 more hens than we actually need. We eat them:
hard boiled
soft boiled
over easy
sunny side up
scrambled
frittata
omelet
egg salad
hash & eggs
fry up
deviled
pickled
red beet
quiche
souffle
and my personal favorite - pound cake (10 eggs!)
