Heh. IDK if I even have it anymore. I started back in 2004 when digi was so new, we weren't even capable of making nice stuff..

well, I'm not exactly an SSD designer, BUT, I did find this beauty on my EHD

It's from 2006 and according to the TOU: 'Sweet Shoppe Designers' is used to represent Amanda Lacey, Mindy Terasawa, Robin carlton, Sara Carling, Christy Lyle, Andrea Victoria, Sandra Boddington,Paula Duncan and Tracy Ann Robinson

and this one

I also have some Manda and Robin stuffs from 2005/2006

my best friend and her daughter - I had a katie, emily and andy too - that was back when I thought naming kits after people would be my schtick. manda told me it was gay, so yeah.... stopped doing that LOL

I have some old KCB kits, I don't think she has them anymore though, she is famous for "losing" the ones she hates. lmao

How did y'all do layouts back then with like no elements to speak of?

Julie, I still have, and love, that kit.

Isn't it amazing how far digi has come? Extractions were unheard of back then. My kits were horrible when I started. I didn't know how to use my program, and every thing was out of proportion.

I think the designers need to have a re-do... like take their first kits, and make them brand new and better (but maybe minus those flower things that Robin & Manda used, haha)!!

They know they can't beat the atrocities that are my first kits so they aren't even bothering.

I don't think I have Traci's "first" kit ... but they go WAY back to ScrapMommies and then I may have pieces of some of La's first before she came to SSD as well.

And layouts back then look NOTHING like layouts with today's kits. Mine were very reminicient of Creative Memories paper scrapbooking. A few layered papers, some ribbon ... maybe a "charm" LOL

This thread was a spinoff of a "first layout" thread that started earlier in the week

And, yes, some of them are pretty scary!
