Need help with KCB Note to self alpha

I'm having trouble opening the alpha file. It says "Could not complete your request, because the file format module can not parse the file" I downloaded it for a second time, but the same problem. I did notice the file is big 3600 x 14022. I've never had this problem before and I do not no how to solve it...

Any suggestions???

Sometimes that happens to me. Are you dragging in the file or going to file>open? Sometimes when I try to bring it in a different way it works!

I tried different ways to open it in PS but they all failed. Then I tried to open it
in Paint shop pro and that worked. I've cropped it in 2 parts and I can now open it in PS.
