Default Before and after - 150 pounds gone!
Well, I had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy as some of you may know in November 2011. I've been heavy since I was a child but it was out of control. Now I've officially lost 150 pounds (more like 160, but at the time of the "AFTER" photo, 2-3 weeks ago, it was 150). The shirt I had on is now too big and the pants too. I still have 20-30 pounds to go, then I have to get evaluated for plastic surgery, since I have lots of yucky loose skin.

Anyway, the journay was really hard post-op, I'm still adjustng, but at least I have some energy and some self-confidence. My life has changed so much! It's pretty incredible!

Here is the before, exactly one year ago - I shudder seeing this - no wonder I didn't like having pictures taken.



and the AFTER!!!!

Thats so awesome! I had lapband 1 yr ago in August and I've lost 58 lbs. I still have a way to go but it feels awesome even just losing what I have!

Thank you for letting me share this!

In the first pic, I was wearing size 28 pants and 4 or 5 X top and in the second, size 16 pants and XL top. Now I'm down to size 14 and large.

My stomach was almost totally removed, leaving a 3 oz capacity, which is really not alot, lol!

Here's a site that helped me a lot, explaining different weight-loss surgeries and they have a forum too.
