My parents have part of their countertop as butcher block. It looks really nice

My husband's parents have a HUGE island that is butcher block. It is the best. They've had it for over 20 years and you would never guess. It has held very nicely. I have no idea where they got it from though

I would love one! I just use our crappy counter as one. We use to have an island one at one time and it was just awesome!
