In L&D
I woke up this morning and discovered that I had bleed over the night. I went to L&D because it was a good amount. My OB is out of town but another OB from his office is covering for him and he ordered a ultrasound right away. They were afraid that my planctia was seperating from my uterous. Well the u/s showed that its not. However they did find a blood pocket between the baby & the planctia. Which they said should heal on its own & there will be no harm done. Or more will form & that is bad. So they are keeping me over night since I was also having contractions. They are going to do another ultra sound tomorrow morning to see whats going on and then my OB will deciede what we do from there.
The u/s tech was able to tell me that baby is a girl! So we are expecting a baby Lilly.  So now we know. Now I get to buy more pink scrapbook kits. lol. So fingers crossed that I can go home tomorrow. Updated So its Monday morning and the ultrasound was suppose to get done at 7am. Well its 8:30 and still no ultrasound. I'm on pins and needles waiting to see what the ultrasound shows. I really want to get home and kiss & hugs my kids and sleep in my own bed tonight. Monday Afternoon So they did my ultrasound and the blood pocket is still there but hasn't changed. They said it looks like another one may be forming it next to it. But they said it could take a few days to a few weeks before it actually breaks off from my pacntia & they would really perfer to not keep me forever. So I have a ultrasound tomorrow at my OB's office & I'll finally be able to talk to him about all of this. I was given some strict rules to follow & I'm going to make sure I stick with them. I'm not on a complete bed rest but for evey hour on my feet I am to spend at least an hour off of them. No heavy lifting and I am so make sure I don't hit or drop anything onto my stomach. I'm to return if I bleed again, have 3 or more contractions in one hour or feel really crampy. They did say that if I return to l&d bleeding again like I did on Sunday then they will most likely keep me until I deliever. But Lilly looked great on this mornings ultra sound & thats a good thing.

Congrats on your baby girl! I hope you can get your u/s done and go home! Last summer when I was 30w with my twins, I had a massive bleed and they kept me in the hospital on bed rest. I had 2 more bleeds and they delivered the babies at 32w. They just turned a year old last week and I have another little blessing due on October 26th! So we are due date buddies

I hope everything goes ok! ohhhhhhhhhhhhh so sweet! I had 3 boys ... but if I had had a girl ... it was most definitely going to be named Lillie or Lily ... not sure which spelling I would use. My grandmother's name was Lillie and I think her mom was Lily (we called her Mimi) ... but alas no Lillie here.
