I had a root canal on Friday and 1/2 my temp filling fell out last night when I stupidly bit into some caramel popcorn. It doesn't hurt (yet), but it's jagged on one side now and really bugging me. I SO am not ready to see the dentist again yet!

Complaining to commence when dh gets home.

It might not hurt if the root is gone! Nothing left to hurt...

Ugh... makes me remember why I've not been to the dentist in over a year. Of course, by putting it off, I'm costing myslef more $$$... but hoping my single sister starts dating a dentist or something for a discount!

I had an extraction last week, and a temp filling put in one of my teeth, I'm scared to death it will fall out, because if it does, it WILL most definitely hurt. He is waiting a bit to see if having the tooth next to it gone will keep it from decaying any worse than it was, he may need to do a root canal on it. Stupid wisdom tooth. :/

Get to the dentist, so you don't get an infection in it or something!

My temporary crown fell off last week and I had to wait a couple days before they could put it back on. That was annoying and felt weird. But it didn't hurt since the root is filled and the nerve is dead. So hopefully you'll be ok too until you get to the dentist. I really dislike going to the dentist. It's often bad news.

you can go to Walgreens and get some temporary filling in the dental aisle to use until you go back.

Really??? I would've never thought such a thing existed!

Yeah, it doesn't hurt, but the edge of the my tooth is annoying the heck outta me. Calling the dentist tomorrow. I don't understand how this whole thing happened to me in the first place seeing as I'm 100% obsessed with oral hygene. It's not fair! 32 years old and I've never had a cavity... till now.
