lol, i've been working myself up for weeks now in anticipation of starting my second semester of school. I'm sure it will be OK in the end, the schedule is just a bit more intense and the subject matter actually is important vs my lame writing class last semester

but what really has me worried now, is looking at the syllabus for my medical coding class... I see 50% of my grade is based on participation yikes. i'm the quiet girl who gets overwhelmed and exhausted by having to interact with people too much. I am going to die. LOL

hey girl, you will make it..... I never thought I could live without my hubby ... and now... since 3 years I'm alone and it works most times... it was hard and I had to learn much, but I know we woman CAN! and you CAN too!

Ouch, I'd struggle with that, too. Hopefully it's a small class and you'll feel comfortable participating.

Thinking about you. Don't get yourself too freaked out until you find out exactly what the teacher means by "class participation". For some it might mean actually showing up for class and maybe making a comment every week or two. Hoping it is a small class and that you will feel comfortable.

This is what I was thinking, maybe it is just a matter of attendance and not like actual speaking up.

You've got this La! I also think "class participation" is more being there and actively participating in discussions! I wouldn't worry to much about it until you find out the 1st day what is expected! Good luck! Medical coding was one of my favorite classes even though I didn't go in that direction with my medical field job and am going back to school in February to become a phlebotomist and then hopefully a MLT!

thanks girlies <3 Today went better than I anticipated for class.. Upset stomach and all this morning, and then got to class and it was ridiculously laid back and easy LOL. I have class again tomorrow (Same one) and then saturday with the stressful man haha- we'll see how that one goes, but a good first day def eases the anxiety a bit!

Very much. Sometimes I even get to vomit level. I'm anxious person. Lol. One day I'll grow out of it right ? Haha
