Default another totally random question

Im just curious what kind of salad dressing do you like best? I really only eat ranch and my favorite is Buttermilk Ranch. It is sooo yummy. I also really love the 7 lettuce salad mix by Dole. I eat salads almost everyday in the summer because its so much lighter and you dont have to cook it. My hubby hates ranch but will eat just about any other salad dressing. I can deal with italian if I have to but it is not something I would buy for myself. Sooo what is your favorite?

here is a basic recipe:

A balsamic vinaigrette is given a twist with the addition of a hint of honey for sweetness and dry mustard for spice. Make a big-batch so it'll always be on hand to enliven any salad.
Ingredients

* ¾ cup olive oil
* ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
* 1 tablespoon honey
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* ½ teaspoon salt
* ½ teaspoon dry mustard
* ¼ teaspoon ground pepper

Cooking Instructions

1. Mix olive oil, vinegar, honey, garlic, salt, mustard and pepper to combine.

I use a salad dressing carat thing that already shows how much oil/vinegar to put in so I don't usually use an actual recipe.

I'm not a salad dressing fan at all. I do like Ceasar salad dressing and the Olive Garden salad dressing lol - that's it Often times I'll just eat my salad bare

I am a Ceasar salad girl but if I get a "normal" salad, then I use Ranch. Nothing else will do. Have you tried the cucumber ranch???? YUMMY!

I am also going to second the Olive Garden dressing. FYI....you can buy it from them and it comes in a cute little glass jug!

Creamy Italian from Pizza Hut is my absolute fave. Anywhere else I'll do ranch or bleu cheese.

And I think the Olive Garden dressing is TDF too.

I don't think there are any that I don't like, really, but I almost always put ranch on my salads that I make here at home. When I'm out, it just depends on what kind of salad I'm eating. But, yea, here at home it's ranch, cause I always have it on hand for a ton of other things I like ranch with

Ranch or Paul Newman's Light Italian. I do love OG as well, although we don't have one here, so I don't get it very often...

When I am out I mix 1000 Island and French. At home I use Balsamic Vingerette. I like Ranch on potatos and just plan veggies.

Vidalia Onion Vinaigrette is my fav. I also like Marie's Blue Cheese Vinaigrette found by the bag salads. I don't really like creamy dressings. We eat salads every weeknight for our supper so we have a huge variety of dressings in our fridge.

I have some sort of organic Sesame Ginger dressing and another organic Peanut Sesame dressing that I bought because they were on sale & I thought they would make good marinades but both are surprisingly good on salad as well

Italian on my salads and I LOVE OG's salad dressing! I do not like ranch on my salads at all...but on my pizza or chicken or french fries its yummy. But Im a ranch snob and will NOT eat it out of a bottle- it has to be homemade.

I like dipping too Meg. I will usually put the dressing in another container to dip in. I read somewhere that saves alot of calories when you eat salads.

I am really leery of most dressings since they are sooooo fatty (I'd rather expend the calories on something I find more satisfying), but I do love most of Paul Newman's low fat dressings

I usually don't have any, I like salads fine without it. But when I do, I'll eat Caesar (on Caesar salads obviously), Italian, French or Catalina. Catalina is probably my favorite though.
