I have a killer headache, but overall, the actual day is going pretty well. I got rather perky when I saw how awesome our plants are doing.

we didn't get up until 8...then had to rush for swim lessons (in the rain) at 9....I have to go see my mom (she has Lyme disease)...and all I wanna do is whine and lay around

11:00 here, and I'm right there with ya, Laura. I got up and went walking this morning. But, I came home to a bed that had been peed in by a kid who probably has strep. So, I had to deal with the laundry and a visit to the doc before I took some of the other kids to swim lessons. So, yeah, I'm ready to be done with this day.
Plus, I have TWO Kindle books on loan from the library and I need to finish them before they expire.

I started the Divergent series last night! Of course, I'm already through the first book... Resisting the urge to start the next one now. I can't stop reading once I get into a book! It's a problem!
I did go get groceries... That's my least favorite chore so maybe I should reward myself.

My Monday started with kids not cleaning their room and thus my 2 yo took a dive over the headboard of my 4 yo's bed. She landed on her cheek, so I iced it up and checked her eyes for dilation. Then as we were heading downstairs so I could put on a show so she could take it easy, she vomited all down the stairs, so I took her in for a shower. She seems fine now, and is down for her regular nap, but I still keep checking in on her. Poor thing and all of my excited energy for cleaning that I randomly woke up with went away when I had to clean up the vomit.

It's sunny here in England ... And very hot ... And I am lying on my blanket in the garden baking myself golden brown. It doesn't happen here very often so we have to make the most of it

Yup - Monday sucks. Also having a hard time being motivated. Went to the gym this morning (which was good) but now I just want to sit around and take a nap and then read my book! LOL I need to paint cabinet doors and tape out the bathroom closet and cabinet. Paint those (or at least get a base coat started). Empty the dishwasher, put dirty dishes in it. Vaccum. Clean up random messes.
Gah- that nap is sounding better and better! But I agree with Lydia - vomit trumps everything. Megan I hope your little one is okay and that your day gets better!

I'm exhausted. I was in the process of going to bed when we were told that our neighbor's house was on fire. It was out in about 10 minutes, but surprisingly, I didn't sleep well after that... Could have been the flashing lights until almost midnight, or the sound of the industrial fans.... or my fear that it would reignite...

The kiddo is napping and I'm in a BAD MOOD. I've already gotten in a few verbal spats today (:sigh: I know, I know). I'm ready for Monday to be over.
Can't decide if I'm going to get some work done now while kiddo sleeps, or if I'm going to nap, or read a book, or scrap. I need something to get me out of my bitchy mood, but I don't know what it is.

I have no complaints about Monday except that it's my first month back on birth control and I'm all ragey and stabby pretty much 24/7. I think I'd rather be pregnant.

It was SOOO a Monday here.
Aside from actually getting up on time and feeling pretty before leaving the house...everything else about the day was a complete flop. Work was a disaster. I've got a couple of hours of Accounting homework to complete. Kids didn't get showers. Photo session was ehh. Day was long.
