Oh, I've just remembered something!
This is cute, but wait until the very end! Every cover artist's dream, I guess: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69Grnh7Qin8 Esmee is Dutch; she used to do YouTube covers as well and ended up with a record contract with JT. I even have the CD. I hope some of the guys in this thread can do just as well, they sure deserve it (most of them are much better than Esmee actually, heh). So. I've created a huge master list of songs and two friends of mine are listening and helping with the selection. Love this part of the process, especially when shared with others. :-)

Okay, so I'm totally addicted now and I had NEVER heard of "Covers' before this thread!! I love some of these better than the originals and my itunes account just got a lot lower!! $$$ But I LOVE it! So I'm bumping this in case anyone else have any to add! So fun! Also, I'm LOVING X Factor!

I found an amazing singer on youtube that does covers. I think he may have a contract now though. His name is James Dupre. AMAZING singer! He mostly does country but does have some other songs in there.

Some time ago I discovered Sara Niemietz.
She's pretty good. Here is her singing: Talking to the Moon by Bruno Mars Set Fire to the Rain by Adele Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri (I love that she's not singing it in a soppy way, I disliked all other covers I heard because they were trying too hard to sound tragic and I actually think Perri does that best) Also, this is very dangerous! I already bought a CD by Bruno Mars and I think I need Adele...
