Thumbs up I made my first jewelry today!
I made a pair of earrings and a necklace for my sisters birthday on Monday. Only mistake was the fastener isn't centered because when I had all the beads laid out, I realized I wanted to make it bigger and rather than getting more out of the case, I took from the other side and didn't check before I added the clasp. Oops! Will know for next time! It's a great length and looks great! (I had to try it on) Funny...my FB status mentions I got my stuff today and I didn't check to see who commented on it until I was done. My sister commented "well, you know, my birthday is on Monday " LOL



Now I need to get a lot of different kinds and colors of beads. I have lots of plans!

Okay, I made another set today and like it more so I'm going to give the other one to my MIL for Mother's Day (she picked out the beads anyway) and I'll give this set to my sister tomorrow.

I love making jewellery, another addiction of mine. I have lots of shelving with jars filled with beads in all sizes and colours as well as hardware, tools and magazines.

My sister LOVED the set! My mom kept gushing over it too and said I should try selling stuff at the Farmers Market in the spring! Not sure about that...I like sleeping in on Saturdays. LOL I also made my sister a bookmark this afternoon before heading to my parents house for her birthday dinner and then made my mom one when we got home. LOL I'll make her a necklace & earring set for Mother's Day.
