I have a tag (but you could just keep a file) for previews of new things that I buy. That way I know I have to scrap with them first before buying new stuff.

Dawn you are so good! I had most of my stuff tagged when my ACDSee crashed and my database corrupted, even the back ups. Since then I haven't got the energy to start all over again And yes, I definately should stop buying, cause I don't scrap that much but... I can't help it, I am addicted to SSD

I keep my new unused stuff in a folder marked new or whatever so I can check there first when I'm scrapping.

I have so much unusd stuff it's insane. It's all scattered about too...so I don't even know how much exactly...which is probably better!

I usually unzip everything that I download right away just because my mac automatically does it for me about 90% of the time. Though I do like to put everything in a folder say by Store. So I have an SSD folder and a SO folder etc etc. That way when I scrap I can just pull stuff out from each store if I want to post it at a particular one and it's all right there.

I have a Downloads folder that is slowly being worked through - I'm down to about 8GB to go

Dang, woman. Sounds like you need to take a deep breath, accept reality for what it is, and do a little bit of DELETING.

Like the Flylady says, "Don't keep things around that you don't love or that make you feel guilty." Just accept that you wasted a little bit of money and focus on using th e things you really like.

I give you permission.

Kellie, you are so funny - I only bought things I really liked and always have a hard time to restrict myself in the Sweet Shoppe Well there is a lot of CU products that I downloaded when I bought a store and I really have to go through that, I give you that But I have school holidays, maybe I work on sorting through this time, hehe!

Nathalie I totally understand what you're going thru...Sometimes I find unzipped files that I've bought and forgotten about...I've made a vow to scrap with all of my new stuff before I buy anything else...Now if only I could get motivated to scrap...

I do like Emmy, too. When I purchase, I download and unzip immediately, and it sits in a New & Unused folder until I use it. That way, I can shop there first when I'm trying to scrap.

Well, in theory that's what I do. I just don't scrap much anymore I really, really need to get back to it!!
