Bread with butter or with vegetable spread. Some cherry tomatoes. And one white yoghurt. I take coffee at work. I used to breakfast at work, sweet breakfast - croissants etc., but I decided to quit that because I was getting sick of all that sugar. No kiddos here, so no answer to that half of the question. :-)

I used to be a no-mood-for-eating-in-the-morning person for ages, but trained myself and honestly, these days I'd die of hunger if I didn't have breakfast.

But I tend to skip dinner, admitted. Trying not to do that, too.

My kids have a few differnt things and sometimes they each have something differnt and that's because daddy makes breakfast everyday and he's a big push over!!!

Eggs and toast. Somethings the eggs are scrambled, dippy, hardboiled (egg balls as my 3 year old calls them ) and sometimes even an egg sandwich.

Pancakes with fruit toppings.

Instant oatmeal and real oatmeal (depending on how many want it....if everyone wants it we make the real stuff if just 1 or 2 kids want it we keep a box of instant on hand.) with freah fruit.

Then we always have turkey bacon and turkey sausage on hand and have one or the other most mornings. And I alwyas have fresh fruit they can have if they are still hungry after breakfast.

Sometimes they get a treat and get to have cold cereal on the weekends, but I don't feed it to them often because not even a half hour later my 2 youngest are whining for snacks cause it doesn't fill them up long....so I can't imagine my older kids at school hungry!!! So I save it for the weekend when I can give them a snack earlier then normal.

And I love breakfast....I eat it every morning and usually eat the same thing the kids do!!!

Luke and I eat at school each morning in my room. I usually have a greek yogurt or a banana. Luke either has cereal, a granola bar, or yogurt.

Protein shakes for me. For the kids some gogurt and a nutrigrain bar. Something quick and can be eaten on the go because we usually eat breakfast in the car on the way to school.

Either two pieces of toast with peanut butter and jam or a bowl of cereal. No matter what I always have a cup of coffee with breakfast. I've trained my body to expect breakfast and need to eat within 15 minutes of getting up.

Depends. Every other day it's cereal (shredded wheat, honey bunches of oats or multi-grain cheerios), or toast & yogurt with fresh fruit/or smoothie.

Then on the 'off' day it could be anything: waffles, pancakes, french toast, egg burritos, eggs, biscuits & gravy or some new recipe I think we need to try.

Either cereal & fruit, oatmeal with raisins & honey, or sometimes a homemade egg and cheese sandwich.

Wow, you girls are ambitious in the morning! The boys feel lucky if I actually get them their cereal! They're pretty independent though and easily pleased by 'special treats' like scrambled eggs with hot dogs. (Don't judge...it's good!)

I usually have cereal with a small glass of juice. Kiddo usually eats a piece of toast with a banana and milk. But lately he hasn't been eating the toast so he's been eating cereal.

During the week I eat at work. I usually have tea, and then either a bowl of cereal or an english muffin with peanut butter. Between breakfast and lunch I try and have a small snack so I don't eat too much at lunch.

On the weekends I usually make eggs for breakfast and either do them scrambled in a pita with veggies, or fried with hashbrowns (healthy vs not healthy, lol!). I drink coffee on the weekends from my Keurig

Mine is Honey Nut Cheerios with fruit and a cup of hot milk with coffee in it.

The kids eat random stuff - yogurt, waffles, cinnamon toast, oatmeal, cereal, leftover pizza

I work nights, so when I get up, I eat lunch. Then a few hours later, supper, and snacks at work. But when I am working days, I eat 2 pieces of low calorie toast with margarine or half a bagel while I drive. My child eats at school, but on days he is at home, I let him decide between easy favorites, yogurt, cereal, etc.

Work days - 2 slices of seeded bread toast with diet spread or diet peanut butter

Weekends and holidays - whatever I find in the fridge or cupboard Yesterday I was making Easter crafts first thing in the morning with marshmallows but I only needed the white ones - so I ate pink marshmallows for breakfast

3 cups of coffee... well, I POUR 3 cups of coffee... I usually get a couple sips out of each one before it goes cold & gross, lol! Some days I'm REALLY lucky & get cold coffee & cold toast w/ peanut butter! Woot!

I give DD cereal w/ milk usually. It's easy & about the only thing I can manage w/ a 3 week old baby hanging off me all the time!

I used to be a big breakfast eater. Now? Just a latte (I am a home barista ) and biscotti.

The hubby and kids usually have cereal, fruit and yogurt. My DD sometimes branches out and makes herself a bagel or toast with PB.

Angie, you crack me up by still saying military time! It is endearing. I swear! I guess old habits are hard to break! LOL

For me....I am SUPER healthy and have a can of Coke. Yep. I am the picture of health.

For Landon....he has his choice between: waffles, scrambled eggs w/ toast, cinnamon toast or cereal. If I am feeling EXTRA generous and want to spoil him....I let him have a pop tart. That is usually on the weekend though.

I'm glad someone else drinks coke in the morning. lol I eat half a blueberry bagel with lowfat cream cheese and a handful of almonds. I drink probably a 1/3 of a coke - I don't do coffee.

My son eats a small bowl of cereal (normally Life), a gogurt, half a bagel, and sometimes either a waffle or cereal bar, too. Seems like a lot for a 7 year old, but he is thin so that works for him!

Piece of toast or waffle with peanut butter or a bowl of cold cereal.

Kids love to get pancakes on the weekends, then whatever's left over gets put in the freezer and toasted during the week.

And don't forget a couple of delicious cups of coffee!!

My usual breakfast is 1/2 cup oats cooked in 1 cup water, a pinch of cinnamon, and a bit of vanilla extract then topped with flaxseed, wheat germ, and chia seeds (very high in protein). Then I top that with 1/2 berries or Craisins and a couple tablespoons of slivered almonds and a bit of skim milk. I also have a cup of green chai tea every morning.

DD eats the same thing most days. On Sunday we make up 5 bags each of what we want in our oatmeal (except the berries) so we can just dump it into a bowl and pour boiling water over it, cover it with a plate and let sit for 10 minutes while making lunch for the day. (This works even for old fashioned or steel cut - not just the quick oats.

Sometimes we make muesli for the week and on weekends we will sometimes make oatmeail, pumpkin pancakes or waffles, or breakfast fruit and nut cookies.

Once in a while DD will have eggs, but I hate them - LOL.

A banana or granola bar, something around 100 cals-ish. I can't eat more than that, especially if I'm running that day.

DH and the kids are big breakfast eaters: pancakes, eggs, oatmeal, toast, cereal, fruit... But they don't eat much for lunch, it's more of a snack-type meal.

I have coffee, and wait an hour. then I usually eat an egg, a smoothie or a grain bar.

If I remember to eat breakfast... I'll have an Hungry Girl Egg Mug or a granola bar (which I shouldn't because of gluten and being on a low carb diet)... weekend we have a huge egg and bacon late breakfast that covers breakfast and lunch.

My hubby has a protein shake or eggs.... and kiddo has either a nutella on bread and pickles (he is a nut for the sour veggie) or pancakes... once in a while he will ask for kashi cereal.

During the week for the kids: Some sort of cereal with milk or two slices of toast with honey/peanut butter/jam and a glass of milk.

Me: coffee, coffee (saeco coffee maker) and then maybe a slice of toast with peanut butter or honey, or - vegimite over the last week I had a breakfast smoothie with low fat milk.

Weekends: If the kids get up before us, they will have what they have during the week - because that is what they can do themselves. Saturdays can by quite busy in the morning, so we don't do something special.
But Sunday mornings I like to do pancakes with fruit or maple sirup and bacon or scrambled eggs, or egg benedict, fresh juice and coffee.

Lately, my breakfast has been 1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese with pears and a Clif bar. I am trying to drop a few pounds and find that I need a lot of protein to help hold me over until lunch.

During the week I usually have cereal, yogurt or a Fiber One bar. If I'm running late or don't feel like eating (I'm not a big morning person) I'll throw a Slim-fast in my purse and drink that at work.

Weekends... I usually don't wake up until lunch

I'm bad with breakfast. I usually don't eat until after I get to work. I do bring some sandwiches though, so it's not the most unhealthy choice. During the weekends or days off, I take a couple hours to get around to eating breakfast. I am not a breakfast eating person.

My son is somewhat the same way, if he's too tired he won't eat much. But I introduced him to cheerios a few weeks back, and if all else fails, he'll happily eat a bowl of cereal.
