Default You know you're a scrapper when...

your daughter loses her umbrella into the lake and gets so upset that the guy next to us fishing comes over and literally fishes the umbrella from the bottom of the lake and your reaction is to insist on a picture so that you can scrap about it.

CURSES for getting both their eyes shut

Haha yep! I usually grab a pic first before I clean up whatever disaster my toddler just created lol. That's a perfect scrap story there.

He was SO awesome! it took about 15 minutes to get it hooked and he tried like 5 different things and never gave up! You should have seen Gemma's face when it fell in and then again when he fished it out. Priceless!!

aww... what a sweet story and so nice to hear "strangers" helping others in need!

I totally get the "photo first"... we are on vacation right now and on the first day, we were on the beach and a wave knocked down my DH's 87 year old grandma... my first instinct was that I must take a photo of Grandma down - how sad is that? haha But, I helped her up, helped DH rescue her shoes before they were pulled into the Pacific, got her to safe land AND THEN took a photo of her dripping wet.

How sweet.

And I'm also guilty of grabbing for the camera and snapping a shot before fixing whatever mess they created.

haha, yup!!!
I know the dr's thought I was nuts taking so many pictures of my son when he broke his arm.... but hey, it's not like it was making things any worse, and I needed to do something while we waited.
