Hey, hey sweet shoppers!!

Happy National Carpe Diem Day! Carpe Diem Day is celebrated each year on February 26. Most of us get caught up in regretting or reminiscing and worrying or making plans for the future. Between all the worrying and planning, we forget that the only moment we have is the present. This moment, right now, is all there is!

For today's challenge, I want you to tell me something you are going to do today that might make your day better. It doesn't have to be anything big. Treat yourself to a coffee. Get outside and take a walk. Try something new. Go for a drive. Whether it's something small or something big, what are you going to do today to put a smile on your face?

I know I will be drinking coffee as I do that every day.... I am hoping to get some scrapping done today (need to make a layout for yesterday's challenge)... scrapping always makes me feel better.

Scrapping always makes me feel better but other than scrapping is when I drop the kids off at school and drive back home jamming to music at a higher volume then normal.

Today I will enjoy packing for my trip to Mexico this next weekend!

It's going to be a sunny, warm day tomorrow so I'll take advantage and go for a long walk. I'm also going to call my son that lives on the West Coast to wish him a safe trip. He's off to Mexico in a few days to do some rock climbing with a group. It makes me nervous but I know he lives and breathes for this type of adventure. All I can do is keep a brave face and tell him to have a great time.

I am going to enjoy a cup of tea and sit in my garden, listening to the birds chirp. It's the dogleg days of Summer. And I want to relish this season.

It was our final day in Chicago today, so we enjoyed a nice lunch at a nice restaurant. Then we checked out a couple different chocolate shops to try some different chocolates.

I'm going to snuggle with our sweet fluffy dog Molly. She's having some health issues and had a bad night last night and not much better today. Snuggles seem to help both of us!

I am going to organize some things in relative quiet after a rather loud weekend (so far the baby has not found out his voice can go louder yet! hahah)

Since my daughter will leave in about 20-30 minutes for her driving lesson, I will enjoy some quiet time while I'm the only one at home. Going for a walk, watch a video on YouTube and scrap. Oh, and I should make an appointment at the hairdressers'.

I go for a long walk. About an hour or more. It helps me clean my mind.

Today I have a physical for the first time in nearly 4 years.... and I'm also going to schedule the mammogram and colonoscopy that I've had on my list of things to do. Crossing things off my list ALWAYS makes me feel good!

I'm substituting at the high school today. It may not sound like I'm treating myself, but I decided to make my dream trip happen of seeing the Redwood Forest this summer, so I'm working to treat myself to my dream vacation.

I have a dentist appointment this morning (I've been dealing with a broken tooth that I had to have extracted and will be replaced with an implant). And after my appointment, I am going to stop and treat myself to my favorite dark roast coffee and some breakfast on my way home.

I got my workout done this morning (started a new program too whoohoo 4 weeks of good workouts!) which always makes me feel better.

I'm also going to order a new lens for my camera hopefully tonight because I was insanely blessed by the parents on my son's team who took up a collection to help me buy a longer lens as a thank you for all the pictures I take/share for the team. The plan was to wait until the end of the year for my birthday/Christmas to buy the next one but now I am able to get it so much sooner

this morning, i'm drinking my usual strong black coffee (no sugar) and waiting for the day to warm up. it's 33 at the moment but it's supposed to go into the 50s so i'm hoping to sit out on my bench in the sun this afternoon! just a simple thing but i enjoy the sun on my face and watching the little activities going on .. no ants out yet but the pesky squirrels are usually around until i chase them off and the birdies and feral cats make their rounds. another great day of city life!

I just went to the gym for the first time in two weeks and this afternoon I am going to listen to an audiobook and scrapbook.

I am meeting with somebody that may be able to provide me with the caretaker to release my husband. I am very excited and this will change a lot of things for us!

After lunch, we are going to go for a drive along the river and stop at our local bird sanctuary for a walk and to feed the birds. I love to go on nature walks and feeding the birds is an added treat. I especially love to feed the Chickadees that will eat out of your hand. They always put a smile on my face.

I love to start my day off reading from the book of Psalms! I then fix my coffee and wait for our precious 20 month old granddaughter to come. We are now in the nursery and she is playing while I am participating in the SSD PGAD. Next I will work on scrapping some layouts!

I got cleared to start driving again after a month from foot surgery. I plan to go to lunch with my hubby before he leaves for Germany for work. That part is sad. He was there last week and has to go back again for a week. Enjoying all the time I can with him before he leaves again.

I am looking forward to a quiet afternoon to get a few things done around the house before the oldest gets home from work and I pick up the middle schooler.

I plan to work on my BSF lesson today. I always feel better when I've spent time in the Word =) I'm also going to put together my wishlist for the SSD PGAD. Thinking about cute scrapping supplies always feels like self-care =)

Good Morning. I'm off for a good walk today; I'll do an extra distance with the sunshine on my face. I don't have to cook today because we have leftovers from yesterday; that always makes me happy. I've got plans to do some service for my ex-sister in law who is in a care center. I'll for sure have a bowl or two of ice cream tonight.

Its going to be warm today (in the 50s), so I can finally give my dog a bath. She has been so stinky so I'll be happy to have her fresh and clean again!

Oh man....I'm sure you worry about those kinds of trips. I do hope he has a blast and stays safe!!

I actually have a terrible cold, so I'm gonna sip tea by a cozy fire and grab a book. It's crazy warm here in upstate NY right now (50's) so I may take a little nature walk later if I feel up to it. The fresh air will do me good.
