Default Twilight trailer

Have you seen the trailer for the first part of Breaking Dawn, due November?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y81pg...layer_embedded

...aparently there's already controversy over the rating 'cos of the love scenes.

it was awhile ago since the last movie it seems. I think they might be a little racy but you know the description in the book was pretty detailed too. Ill be going with my daughter like we did for New Moon and Eclipse (saw Twilight at home with her) and she will be 20 so its not something Im worried about. Just hope there are not tons of tweens & young teens when we go giggling and talking during the movie LOL

really? I would need to reread it. It has been quite awhile since I read the book but I didnt see anything in the trailer that I didnt remember reading about from the book.

If I remember right, in the book, there was no love scene, but the next scene was the day after with gouges out of the headboard and feathers everywhere..so they took those details and made a love scene I think..

BTW I pray the acting gets better with every movie..hahaha the love scenes in this one might make up for the over-acted angst...

I, too, hope the acting gets better. It was awful in the first one, haha! I can't wait to see this one!

I read really fast and because of that while I can remember what I read right when I read it and for a little while afterwards alot of times I will forget it after a few months so youre probably right. My daughter checked the book out from her school library in either 11th or 12th grade because it was the only one I could not borrow from my friend and I read it from the time she got home around 4-5 in the afternoon to about midnight or one in the morning the next day. She was surprised it was waiting for her with her stuff the next morning LOL. So rereading it Im sure it would defenitely refresh my memory.

This girl was really excited about the trailer, too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vqmILSKfew

But, seriously... I'm excited for the movie. It's been a LONG time since I read the books, though-- I read them before it was really trendy, because I got it cheap at Walmart, and I thought it would make a good vacation read... It was $5.88 and I thought, "Hmm. If I lose this or it gets wet, it's okay."

People like that are why I'm ashamed to admit I like Twilight.

I can't complain too much. One of my old school roommates is getting married next month. We had to work VERY hard to convince her NOT to do a blood exchange at her wedding. She's *that* much of a die-hard fan. (Then again, he proposed with the Lord of the Rings Ring, while they were in full LOTR costume, so... book franchises are kind of their thing)

I think the thing Im most excited to see is the baby when it is born and how it grows but Im thinking that will most likely be in the second part. It sucks so much they split it in two parts. I dont know why they would do that with a movie. I know they did it with Harry Potter but didnt see it. Im sure it was just as annoying though. Im hoping they at least off at a point which will be tolerable to stop at. That is the other thing that has me curious is where in the book it will stop at.

They did it to make a ton of money, LOL! The last book is also SUPER long, so, I kinda get it. But part of me wants to wait to see the first part until the second is out, so I can just marathon watch them all at once one weekend :P

I'm betting the 1st movie stops at some point during the birth. (I haven't read the books in a while) but I'm thinking at that point where you're in Bella's thoughts as everything is going on around her. Maybe they introduce the baby (doesn't the baby lay on her chest and then she passes out?), but maybe not. Either way I'm totally picturing it fading to black with like, flames everywhere.

That girl on the video... Ack! Pass me the 'brain bleach', please

I'm excited but same time fearing my excitement will turn against me: "Breaking Dawn" was my least fav Twi book. So, if the movie was made like the other ones before it (and I'm sure they did exactly that)... ->

P.S. - Did you see Copacabana/Rio in the trailer?

I'm more of a fan of pretty boys and not so much the actual movies/books Like Jenger, I read them so long ago that I prolly should reead them.

I'm personally glad they broke it up into 2 movies because I'm ALL FOR them getting in the habit of following the books more in movie productions. I'm sure money played a bigger part, but I'm sure they got quite a bit of pressure to be pretty loyal to those books from freaky twi-hards and twi-moms.

Having said that, I'm in the minority, I think, of actually liking the last book the best, so I'll be looking forward to seeing these movies. I kinda wanna do what Colleen said, though, and just wait until the 2nd one releases and watch them together, though I'm sure I won't.

They'll cut the movie at the imprinting or first view of the baby I bet. Breaking Dawn was like 2 different stories anyway, one leading up to the birth/change and one after so that's the natural stopping point.
