ordering shoes online

Anyone order shoes online?

I do quite a bit of shopping online, but have never bought shoes before. I am a little nervous to spend the money in case they dont fit. But I found a great pair of sandals (great reviews, look great, etc) and for a great price (on amazon!)....I think I might just go for it! I need to replace my 13 year old Merrels. I think they have served their term!

I LOVE Zappos. They aren't cheap like, say, Payless, but they have better quality stuff. PLUS, they do free shipping BOTH ways. So in December I ordered 2 pairs of boots, knowing I'd have to send at least 1 of them back. Neither of them worked for me, so I filled out the return request and they paid the return shipping.

Shoes I will buy online but boots never again. I bought the cutest pair of Justin boots and they are really tight going on. I already had a pair of Laredo boots and I love then but I wanted a pair a little fancier and fell in love with those. I kept them and have worn them but not a lot

I've bought lots of shoes online. I try to stick to brands where I'm familiar with the fit. I also like to use sites where there are consumer reviews about fit. Sometimes I'll try shoes on in a store and find them cheaper online (free shipping & no tax).

i buy most of my shoes online - and almost always from zappos, just because they have such a huge selection, great reviews re. fit, quick shipping and easy returns

I agree with the rest who say you can't go wrong with Zappo's...I have also been happy with DSW...but have much more experience with Zappo's.
I'm usually a 10 in everything and haven't ever had to send anything back...

Just ordered a pair of shoes from Zappos. Ordered a pair for my dd last week and they were here two days later. Love that place!

I found a pair of sandals that I wanted to order - found them on zappos and also another site (forget already) but neither of them had the color I wanted in my size, so I actually found them on Amazon.com - but they wont ship them to Canada!! ARGH!

My fav place to get shoes online (for myself and my dd) is 6pm.com - they have such good deals and always some type of sale. Then if they don't have what I am looking for I go to Shoes.com and Zappos last resort (they are kind of high). I usually stick to brands I know online too, so that way size choosing is much easier.

I LOVE Zappos. I bought some shoes for my son (he's a size 15 EEEE) for work. They fell apart within a few months, so they returned them for free, refunded me my money, and then went over other shoes with me and helped me choose a pair for him that they felt were better for what he needed. They were on sale too, so they were about $30 cheaper.

He's been wearing the same pair for over a year now (I ordered a second pair after we got them and saw how wonderful they were). They are still in fabulous shape, even though he wears the heck out of them.
