yum yum....lets talk about snacks

Ok so, it is 6 am and I woke up with a headache. So I got up and grabbed some tylenol. As I was passing through the kitchen to get to my room, I could not resist grabbing me some peanut butter crackers. So here I lay in my bed, eating crackers and drinking a diet coke while catching up in the forum via my blackberry. Aaggghh, this is the life.
So I started wondering what some of your favorite snacks are. I have a few that I eat almost everyday:
Peanut butter crackers
Pretzels
Popcorn
Lay's Limon chips (totally diggin these big time)

So share with me, what are ur fav snacks?

Cashews! I have a big can from Sam's Club and grab a handful every time I feel I need a little boost. LOL Although now peanut butter crackers sound really good!

wheat thins(with or without cheese on top, preferably mozz)
apple with peanut butter

fruit cups
fruit snacks

I'm sure there is more but can't think of it right now, as I sit eating popcorn

I'm definitely a chip lover! I love Lays 1/2 salt (they are better for you LOL), Tostitos and salsa.

I also LOVE cheese, almonds, granola bars.

Those yummy slightly salty rice crackers from Trader Joes. I could eat a whole bag in one sitting.

Dark chocolate chex mix
Chips and Queso
Eggs. Does this count as a snack? I love eggs... eat them all the time...
Cheez Its
Moon Pies
Pretzels dipped in marinara
And whatever our neighbor is baking... she takes a cooking class and her parents don't like sweets, so she brings over cookies or bars or pie or something about once a week (in exchange, we give her the ingredients she doesn't have in her pantry, like a stick of butter or a cup of milk)

...okay, so mine aren't really all that healthy... lol.

I don't know if these qualify as snacks, but these are my weaknesses:

- paprika-flavoured Crunchips



- Tyrrell's mixed root vegetable chips



- rice crackers



- white olives with feta cheese from Auchan (found no photo, but I think it's not necessary)

As you can see, my tastes are predominantly salty. :-)

ETA: I almost forgot - I won't say no to walnuts, almonds, raisins and such.

Wow, there are some yummy snacks listed here and lots I love and hadn't thought of in awhile. I go in spurts with my "go to" snacks.

These also give me some great ideas for after school snacks for DD.

I don't snack much, but when I do I usually go for

*shredded wheat (preferably cinnamon)
*90 calorie chocolate chip granola bar
*Lays Baked BBQ chips
*pretzels

I absolutely LOVE real beef jerky, and if I'm lucky enough to be able to stop at Woody's Smokehouse in Centerville, TX, I pick some up (at about $26/lb, it's not cheap...but it's good). SO that's probably my favorite snack, but I do not have it very often.

Ack! I dont know if I could eat that or drink a coke at 6 am, LOL I dont wake up completely enough until at least 9 to eat or drink.

When I am awake, I like marshmallows, peanut butter crackers, animal crackers with Nutella, chocolate , I also like buttered pasta for a snack too!

lately, I've been addicted to the tortilla chips -- gotta stop eating so many of those! Otherwise, pretzels, biscotti, pistachios, crackers. I'm usually a salty snacker too.
