So that's it!! I can only think of one layout off hand that I used flowers on that had one of my sons on it ... and it was picked as a highlight layout on another site ... cracked me up ... first time with flowers with my oldest ... and that layout gets picked.

I'm in Sharon's camp. I scrapped flowerless for 5 years before Lauren was born. My oldest and DH object to flowers on the boy pages, and I want them to enjoy looking through the albums, not be wincing because there are flowers. Ben doesn't care, but it may come later, so I avoid flowers for him to be on the safe side, too. The boys' pages get flowers only if it's a spring flower photo or a picture of me or Lauren with the boys. I've soooo been making up for lost time now that I have a girl, too.
