I'm thankful for the fact that today is friday and my hubby is off for the next 3 days and we are putting in a brand new front door today! HOORAY! (we have an ugly green door right now and i've hated it since we moved in)

I'm thankful that my husband and boys get to go camping for the night and will leave me with my DD to play alone (make up, dress up, manicure & pedicure, chick flick, all the works).

I'm thankful that I can take a break anytime I feel like it.

I'm thankful that I feel happier (and more calm) than I did this morning. Some mornings around here don't go very smoothly.

I have a lot to be thankful for today

I'm thankful that when my Dad got taken to the hospital on Sunday night with a suspected heart attack that he wasn't having one and he was back with us and feeling fine on Monday afternoon

I'm thankful that when my Mam went into hospital yesterday for a big and nasty operation on her shoulder and arm that everything went to plan and she's back at home with us today - bruised, swollen and very sore but safe and sound

I'm thankful that it's Friday and I can spend the whole weekend looking after my family and keeping everyone safe

And frankly, if you knew how much I felt like there was someone wanting something every five minutes, you'd be as proud of me as I am (and you would agree that it sounded like a very good solution at certain times). I am thankful that while I was laid off from my full-time guard job, I found a good job to fill that time period without any time as unemployed.

I am especially thankful that as of June 1st, I officially have a permenant full-time job in the guard.

I am thankful that my son's daycare provider is so fantastic that she and her mom are willing to watch my son while I work hours outside of their actual open times.

I am so thankful that I even found such fabulous caretakers for my son that I totally trust.

I am thankful that even though we are no longer together, my son's father & I can get along well and provide the best possible shared care for our son.

Most of all, I am thankful for my gorgeous, smart son.

I'm thankful that there were extra hours I could pick up at work this week - sure yes it is only half an hour early for 2 days but an hour of extra pay certainly helps.
