Default How to nudge half of a two-page template?

Perhaps a dumb question... and I'm working off the dinosaur program PSE5... but I just scrapped Janet's Merry Christmas two-page template and read a tut where she said she nudges each half over about 5 pixels (to be sure nothing gets in the binding/gutter of my photobook). Any ideas how to do this easily? Thanks for any help ladies!

Can you just select all layers (but the background) by ctrl clicking and once they are all selected you can nudge with your arrow key. I'm not sure if you can select multiply layers in PSE5 since I jumped from 3 to 6 and I know in 3 I couldn't but 6 I can!

It's acting all weird... but when I manually selected the layers on one side (using CTRL to select many at once) I finally did get it to nudge with the arrow. Now to select the ones on the other side to nudge away from the middle. It just kept freezing or selecting all... anyway, I think I got it now! Thanks!

I would say once you flatten, use your marquee tool and select half then select the move tool and nudge it over, repeat for second half.

I was thinking kind of the same thing. flatten, then select 1/2 and create a new layer 'via cut' so you have two layers, one of each side.

Good idea... I may do that for the journaling as it goes across the entire page... that WOULD be easier than what I did I think! Thanks ladies!

I am using PSE5 as well. If I need to select multiple things, rather than going through the layers pallette, if you're using the arrow tool you can drag it across all the things you want in your selection, starting on the grey canvas (dunno if that makes sense, but it's one of the ways I do it)
You can also hold down select & click on each item on the working area, instead of ctrl in the layers pallette.
