Back from vacation with GREAT news! :) P&PT's worked!
We just got home from Colorado and had a blast but being "unplugged" for 5 days about killed me! Thankfully I had the hubby's iPhone to check e-mail and FB at least every couple days!
Many of you remember I've been stressed to the max trying to sell my house. We are building our dream home, but after a few offers fell through, we were almost out of time to sell our current home. They wouldn't let me rent it out- so if I didn't sell in time, our dream house (which we picked out our lot and customized from the ground up) would go up for sale. It's awesome and on a greenbelt in a great neighborhood, so I know it'd sell and fast! We were supposed to close by August 16th, but they said they could push it to September at the latest. I had been praying about it, but was losing hope that it would sell. That stress, plus I go back to school/work August 16th, so the hubby planned a last minute, kid-free trip to Colorado to get us out of the funk. As we were packing, we had two showings- annoying but you can't say no... The first day in CO, my parents had to load up and kids & dogs for a second showing. Then the same people came back with their in-laws for a third showing. We got the offer last night- the last night of our vacation in Colorado- and signed the contract via iPhone!  So as long as the inspection goes ok, we'll be closing the sale on this house and buying our new home between Aug 31st and Sept 14th!!!! I know all the P&PTs from my friends made a difference-- so thanks for thinking of me guys! I appreciate it!!!! I hadn't packed anything, because I was really worried it wouldn't sell in time, so I'll be busy with packing AND going back to work soon, but it'll be worth it!
