Default Weekly Weigh-In: Jan 14-27

Hey Ladies!

I totally spaced and forgot to start this thread yesterday. Ooops!!!

Congrats to all of you who had such awesome losses last week! You guys are so inspiring.

I'm still treading water. Trying hard to get back on board. I was down 2 lbs at Friday's weigh-in which isn't a LOT, but I'll take it. Still trying to increase my water intake and move my body more.

It's a new week!!

How are you guys?

Today I was only down about a pound - that is good I know but it is amazing how much harder it is to feel like sticking with the program when you start losing at a slower steadier pace!

I have been logging at MFP for 14 days now though, and that is a huge accomplishment for me, super proud of that!

am i allowed to join here?
i lost 10 kg over the last half year and i am really happy with how i did it because i really followed through even when i fell off the wagon from time to time.
in december i wasn't only off the wagon but i lost the track, so i gained 3 kg. i am happy to say that i lost them again through the first weeks of the year.
and i don't even focus a lot on it. i just do what i did the last year (without the gym).
i will jumpstart next week, when i have some things sorted out (taxes) and everything is in place again.

It was a big fat "0" for me this week. This last five pounds is killing me. I think my body might be telling me that it has done as much as it can do. And, honestly, I'm happy with where I'm at now. I was just trying to work in a little buffer-zone for myself. I might cancel my WW membership this week and just use MFP from now on cause really - I'm basically at my goal weight . . . kinda.

I won't have a weigh in until Sunday, but it was a good week, I stuck to the every other day workout plan I set forth, lost 2.6 lbs, and have the motivation to begin again.

I really didn't want to work out yesterday, but didn't want to disappoint myself, so at 1030 last night I popped in the 30 Day Shred and did a level 1 workout...ouch!! Tonight is a 'rest' night, but I think I'll challenge the children to some Wii dance, since I had lunch out with a girlfriend this afternoon, it was only a cup of soup and salad, but it can't hurt right?!?!

I also started logging in Lose It and joined some of the girls I went to high school with in a 60 day challenge, with $$ incentive.

It's weigh-in day: -1lb (a little disappointed in that number)

-1 inch in arms, thighs, waist and bust and -2 inches in hips!!

anybody found a decent point peanut butter? I checked every jar at Kroger and they were all 5pts :0/ after I add an english muffin or bread that's too many points for me if I still want to eat dinner later

Sticking with things really well, planning meals, trying new healthy recipes, working out lots...and I haven't lost anything in like 2 weeks BUT, I feel good and that is important too.

Yep - I've checked too. ALL peanut butter is the same. I think it was someone here who posted about PB2 once, and I've been meaning to check it out. They carry it at a local health food store here, so I just need to go over and get a jar. Here it is on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/PB2-Powdered-P...2&keywords=PB2

In the meantime, I keep my peanut butter eating to a minimum.

I weighed in on Monday and had lost exactly 2 pounds. I was very happy with that. Only 3 to go until I'm at my ultimate goal weight!!!

I weighed in this morning at 189 so I've lost 29lbs so far. SO close to 30!

I keep checking into this thread -- you are all such an inspiration! I am not really doing any plan at the moment since I am still nursing but I think I may join in and chat with you girls.

I used to do WW and I don't remember the exact points, but you gals should check out this "Better n Peanut Butter" for your PB fix. It has a lot less fat and calories and I think it tastes as good as or better than peanut butter (no pun intended lol). I would eat it on apples and it was awesome. My local Trader Joe's carries it -- there is a place on that website to check out where you could find it in your area.

That is awesome, Jennifer!

Obviously I slacked off again this week and forgot to start a new thread! I decided that I was becoming too obsessed with the scale, so I'm not weighing in right now. So, with not having an official weigh-in day, these posts always slip my mind. Thanks to Meg for editing the title of this one for me!

I'll make myself a note to start a new one on monday! LOL

Third weigh in today... I lost 1.6 this week. And I didn't even eat 40 of my weekly points. That was frustrating. Now we are headed to Disney tomorrow and I will probably gain it all back. Any tips for eating ww at Disney? I think it will be impossible to keep track of the points.

Where all are you eating Brook? I'd try and look ahead and plan what you want to order ahead of time and try to find similar nutrition info (disney doesn't publish theirs)

here's a couple things from WW with Disney

I changed my starting weight on Jan 4 because I'd gained quite a bit over the holidays. Didn't get an official weigh in again until yesterday and I'm down 4.2 since the 4th which is pretty good considering I didn't really start getting serious about it until last Monday. Hoping next Friday will be a more accurate weekly number. Congrats to everyone who lost and to all of us for not giving up on ourselves!

Down -1.8 for the week. Not super happy with that, but I'm going to attribute it to PMS...

It's a new week, so hopefully that will change..
