Default online storage?

So I store all my kits and pages on an external harddrive. I'm on my second now as my first one died, and I now feel like this one's about to die on me as well as it keeps losing contact. So I'm wondering if online storage is a good option. Do any of you use it? and if so, which site are you using?

I'm using BackBlaze, and I love it. But I can't tell from your post--are you looking for online backup (where you'd also have access to your files online), or are you trying to find online storage to replace your EHD? Backblaze only does the first.

I use Carbonite for backup. You still would need to retain the files in your PC for the backup to retain the files. Once you delete a file from your PC, Carbonite will delete it after 30 days.

We use crashplan... we haven't had to recover anything yet... however I do like that my laptop is automatically backed up along with what is on the server...

ETA - Oh, I didn't read your post correctly... are you looking for off side storage like the cloud?

Thanks for your suggestions, I'll look into them. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, that's part of the problem I guess. A back up is a must, but if there's a good option for also replacing the ehd with online storage I'm not sure.

I use back blaze as a backup. I like that I don't have to remember to do anything and it's cheap. Never had to use it yet but I know many people who use and like it.

I use Crashplan after having a disastrous experience with Backblaze on a restore. I also have an external EHD.

I've had a great experience restoring with Backblaze. Their CS has been awesome, and I love that I can just get a few files if I accidentally delete or whatever.

I use CrashPlan both on site for a backup and offsite with their online storage and have had good luck with a restore.
