Well, Amazon's not being particularly customer-friendly. I just placed an order yesterday at the regular price, and they won't pricematch it. So I'm cancelling my original order and ordering again - it'll save me a few bucks at least! Thanks for the heads up!

oh, I will add that I upgraded from PSE6 a couple months ago and I LOVE it! Seriously LOVE it!!! Just wish I had gotten it for this price, lol!

Heather tell me what you love about it, cuz ever since I installed mine I seriously want to throw it out the window most days! I was using PSE6 before and adored that one and am now wishing i could go back!

Oh, no! Don't want to hear that! I used PSE8 on a Mac for about a year when it started giving me trouble... "Quitting unexpectedly" during start-up, or shortly thereafter. I spent hours on the phone with Adobe and in the Apple Store to try to fix it (the phone call to Adobe actually cost me $$ because they no longer support PSE8 since PSE9 is out). Worked ok for about a month and then started crashing again... Upgrading to PSE9 was my last hope!! Hope you aren't having any technical problems!!

well, I LOVE being able to add a layer mask... that is the reason I upgraded from PSE6. I use that instead of the eraser tool a TON!

What don't you like about it? Because other than the layer mask, I thought it was pretty much the same as PSE6.
