Default Tired of the flab... anyone want to join me for the next 30 days?

I'm so tired of the flab and really want to work on it before we go on vacation... I'm gonna do some kind of exercise for the next 30 days... anyone wanna join me and keep each other accountable?

My choices of exercise are:
3 mile walk pushing a double stroller and wearing the 20lb babe
Jillian's 30 day shred
Jillian's Ripped In 30
Pilates video

I desparately need to start moving myself... and could definitely use someone to keep me accountable. My exercise of choice is a stationary bike, although I may get my real one out of the shed and ready to ride.

Yep, tomorrow I want to start getting back to the gym more frequently. I have a lot going on at L.J.'s school right now but I need to figure out how to get moving even after I've been there all day.

We'll be on the boat almost the whole month of July and I have got to get some of this off.

Oh and I might try and do this on the days when I can't get to the gym.

I'm so there! Nothing I've been doing this month has been working...

My choice exercise is Aqua Zumba and walking/pushing stroller.

I've been working with this book. I had major abdominal surgery a couple years ago and if I don't stay on top of the abs exercise I lose tone really quicky and my posture & strength really suffer!

And just checked this one out of the library. I'm trying to alternate days with the books, but with travelling and sitting in airport, I'll admit I got behind!!

I like both these books because the weight routines can all be done at home and every couple weeks he changes them so you don't get too bored!

ME!!!! I've gained SIX pounds in the past three weeks!!!! Darn you last few weeks of school stress! Next week is the last week, but I do want to at least get out and walk or ride bike each day. Then after school is out, I have a ton of choices and all day long. I can do the 30 Day Shred, Biggest Loser workout on Kinect, walking/riding bike for as long as I want/need, going to the gym & doing elliptical.

I'm thinking I need to exercise some. I've finally gotten my weight back up to a healthy amount, but my stomach has gotten sadly on the jiggly side, and while I like the weight, I don't like the jiggle.

I have GOT to get rid of the baby weight! It is driving me crazy. I am trying to find time to do any of it. I think summer will help! I know there is no time for me to go to the gym, but would love to be able to do something at home.

I'm definitely in. I'm got way more than just flab to lose, but I've been going to Curves for about 6 weeks and lost 2 pants sizes! Only about a bajillion more to go! I've got to get healthy for my little one...

I'll be walking, between 2 & 3 miles, pushing a stroller full of 3 lead butts & possibly alternating in some BL 30 Day Jump Start or JM 30 day shred.

I'll join in too. I'm going to try and get to my Jillian video but I have to get something to hold the ta-ta's down first otherwise I'll have other health issues. But at least I can do treadmill, walk the dog, and maybe ride the bike with DH too.

My BFF and I are doing this. Check out http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ I like it for if I'm out to eat I can pull it up on my Blackberry and search for something good calorie wise. I'm terrible at recording my food but I plan on starting tracking the exercise and water intake. I've lost weight this first week! I use the treadmill for 30-45 minutes 5 days a week. It's nice because I can look at her food diary and exercise and send her a "get on the treadmill text" to hold her accountable and vice versa.

Best $$$ I ever spent was on this one... it's ugly but I can do my jumping jacks w/o any movement... and for reference I'm a 30J right now. I use it for my Jillian workouts and when I'm running... and no movement whatsoever... seriously awesome sports bra!!!

It's nice to know that I'm not going to get hit in the face by the ta-tas LOL

Oh good to know Heather! I'm heading to a specialty shop this week to get a proper fitting and get one of those! That and an everyday bra that fits properly and I know I'll be feeling more motivated to get working out.

I am in. School is almost out so now i don't have to wake up at 5 to go jogging/walking. I am afraid I won't go if I sleep in.

5 days a week:
I am working up to jogging again since I broke my foot.
Either weights or pushups
100 situps

I've been walking once a week (albeit 6-8 miles each week), but I really need to step up my walking and exercise routines to be more regular. So count me in - though I will start tomorrow morning....

I'm not in this time, but if anyone wants to start a second round after this one I'm in then! Right now I have no time without DD, and she tends to lose it if I try to work out, even with one of my 10 minute video segments. By the time all 3 are asleep I'm usually done and can't get motivated. But in about a month I can finally join Curves (fingers crossed that the child care plan I've worked out doesn't fall through!), and then I'd like to commit to doing something every day.

Count me in. I'm currently training for a 10 mile road race, so I'll be:
Running
Cross training on the stationary bike
Cross training on the rowing machine
Jillian's 30 Day Shred

I work around my DH's schedule, so sometimes it's night times, sometimes it's early mornings, but I have made it a priority.
