Default Can we talk monitors?

I'm thinking of getting a monitor to go with my laptop. I've felt for awhile that the color was off on the laptop and am hoping I can get some consistency if I get a monitor - but I'm not even sure where to start or what to look for. Do you have one you love? What size?

TIA

I have an HP/Compaq WF 1907 - whatever the heck that means - LOL. It's big because my eyes are getting bad and I have a hard time scrapping on the laptop without the larger monitor - it's a 19-inch. The colors are nice and vivid.

No help here . . . I don't have a laptop. But surely there will be plenty of suggestions on which direction to go - good luck!

I just got a new 21.5 inch Asus monitor as an early birthday present. I'm happy with it. I think the size is close to perfect for my space. It's nice and sharp and the colors appear to be pretty close. I haven't checked the calibration yet, but it's not anywhere near as yellow as my old monitor. It's one of several Asus monitors in our house and we've had good luck with them.
