I was logged in earlier, but had to step away for a few minutes. When I came back, I saw that I was not logged in. I didn't log out, because I knew I was coming back. Any idea why that may have happened? Does SSD kick you out if you remain idle for a certain amount of time?

In the shoppe? If so, I believe there is a session timer In the forums as long as you check the keep me logged in box - you're always logged in whether you leave to browse other sites or close your browser, etc.
