Default Text problem in PSE

Has anyone had a problem where it only prints in capital letters? I know my caps lock is not on, and it works fine in Word, but any font I pick in PSE is only giving me the capital version. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious!?!?!

I had that happen to me a really really long time ago, so I don't remember what I did to change it... I think I ended up losing the layout and having to reboot the computer... because I think even if I saved the layout and rebooted, it still had the problem. I hope someone has a fix for you though, that doesn't mean losing the layout.

Did you try resetting the type tool?
Click on the small downturned arrow NEXT to the T in the type tool options bar
then click on the arrow in the box and choose reset tool.

I did a little research.
If resetting the Type Tool doesn't work, try resetting PSE Preferences file:

Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift immediately after Photoshop Elements begins launching. Click Yes to delete the Adobe Photoshop Elements settings file.

and apparently there is a setting somewhere in the Type Tool that looks like TT that makes everything all caps.
