Default Online File Backup/Storage

So over a week ago my families business burned down in a bad fire. Luckily no one was there but we have lost everything including all my computer files (mostly work lol) and now I am thinking I need to do something more on file backup. Who uses an online file storage site??? One you recommend? Don't wanna spend alot but need something.

Thanks in advance.

I'm so sorry to hear about your family loss... how scary!

I use mozy since they upload from an EHD... but I'm interested in what others say... our 2 year contract with Mozy is up in Feb and hubby is shopping around to see what else is out there.

I used to use Mozy but had some issues with their service so I ended up switching to BackBlaze last February and have been super happy with them. I paid $50 for a year of service I think, but you can also pay by the month.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I use Mozy and am happy with it. It's about $50/computer for a year.

I have used BackBlaze for 2 years, and have done a recovery with it. It is $5 a month, and backs up your computer, and any EHDs you have plugged in. I haven't had any problems.

I use Memopal. It's a backup / storage service. I think it is great.
You can backup from every computer you need to, you just have to login, and you can "backup" everything authomatically or just upload a file you need to backup or store, and you can access them easily from any computer or phone. You can backup hd too, and it won't delete any files if you delete it from the hd or your computer. It's really easy to download a single files or just browse your files, it's like to browse your documents, plus you can share a single files with anyone, if you like to, because it provides you a link when you need it.

I use Backblaze and LOVE IT! Only $5 per month! I use to be at Mozy but had several issues. It was great at first but then I didn't have the greatest experience.

I'm happy to start seeing threads like this where people are happy with their online backups! It seems like it has improved over time...I remember that they used to have lots of comments from people who were settling for a service they weren't happy with because they couldn't find anything better.

I use BackBlaze too. Well, I hope it is running. I should check.

Are you looking for back up AND online file storage? They aren't necessarily the same thing.
