I have my college orientation tomorrow!
I know I posted a while back about me going to college well I have my orientation tomorrow at 9am. Eeeeek. I can't believe this is really happening. I finally picked a school ( I had two choices, a big university that's thirty minutes from my house or a smaller college that's 20 minutes from my house - both are equally rated and have the same program). I picked the smaller school. I really liked that where as the big university had 30 to 40 students in a class there are only 10 to 15 in a class at the smaller college. I did find out that in the smaller college there are only 40 of us enrolled in the Paralegal Studies program VS the big university has over a hundred. The bigger university offers more "extras" through (Dunkin Donuts on campus, dorms on campus, more sports, drama and a bigger Greek system) then the smaller college (plus the smaller college does have a Starbucks!!!!) So I picked.
I have to do orientation tomorrow, then register for my classes, get my photo ID and see the financial aid lady (just to go through all of the VA paper work with her) and then classes start on the 23ird. That's next Thursday! Oh man! I also did get a laptop. I got a really great deal on one at Best Buy. I even went clothes shopping (since most of my clothes in from middle/high school and they have seen better days). I took my placement test and passed the reading/writing parts with flying colors. I did really bad on the math but I did do better then 90% of the kids who just graduated high school (I haven't had a math class in 6 years) so I'm calling it a success. lol. I'm nervous, anxious and excited. My husband has already said that I "have" to take a picture on the first day of classes. lol. I totally called him the perfect scrapbookers husband. So yeah that's all of that stuff. I still can't believe that this is all happening. I always knew that someday I would go to college I just didn't expect now to be someday - you know?

have fun! I know exactly how it feels to be out of high school awhile. I had the option of choosing a larger university for my nursing education but in the end I chose a university which has a campus 20 mins from home which is really small and I love it here.
