I know that some of you have a degree in graphic design...where did you go to school? Are there online programs?

My BIL is one, he went to a private, 4 year college and he now works at a grocery store. LOL! I'm sure like University of Phenoix has an online GD program. And the community college that I go to has a program too. I think my BIL said one if he had to do it again, he'd make sure he took webdesign classes w/ his degree, that's why he can't get hired anywhere.

I am studying at the moment - I go to a TAFE (Technical and Further Education, they provide a wide range of predominantly vocational tertiary education courses in Australia) A couple of years ago I tried to study this online, but I felt very disconnected - I find for Design online courses are not ideal - communication and brainstorming was missing big time. And yes, web design needs to be part of it, too.

I will be starting in September, but mine is combined with a web design/programming feature (servers and stuff like that). I do most of it anyway, but I just need that piece of paper saying I know what I'm doing. I'm looking forward to it.

Maybe I will look in to some distance classes with our community college. I can't go to school full time right now and am just working on my ECE by distance right now. I thought maybe I could pick up some "fun" computer stuff as I go.
