Default Which scrapper has blown you away recently?

There are many scrappers that I love, but recently I can't but be awed my MommaTrish's layouts! I love love love the huge-photo-centric, playfully messy and fun direction her work has taken.

I very rarely get the "I would like to scrap like this" feeling (for the simple reason that I'd have my own style than somebody else's), but I do get it with Trish quite often.

I offer some examples (two of them are non-SSD, hopefully that's allowed) and if you have been this charmed by somebody's creations lately, feel free to share it here. :-)

Well I have a huge scrap crush on Ingridfasquelle!!! (but not in a weird way...lol) She makes everything look so effortless and perfectly finished. She knows the right amount of everything to use on a page.

Tricia has been awesome lately - I spotlighted her on the MeSoScrappy blog yesterday!

Heathergw is also just amazing...and with a newish baby, I don't see how she does it all.

Hehe, great minds think alike. :-)

I went over to MSS and I see you gave LOTW to Kim (Freckles) - she's a scrapper I only really noticed recently, but oh boy she can scrap! Deserves a mention, too, now I think about it.

Some of my faves by her:

I admit I didn't mean this as "your fave scrapper" thread, but rather "have you noticed somebody RECENTLY that made you go wow", but if somebody makes you go wow on a constant basis, I suppose it comes down to "your fave scrapper". :-)))

I have a lot of scrap heros, especially because I feel I have SO far to go to get to their level, but someone who has recently caught my eye is Sula! Her gallery is amazing! Some examples:

Her gallery is just eye candy - awesome layering, amazing photos, and perfect title work!

And then I also love Sugi:

I love Sugi's gallery because she can rock a template out (and I am completely dependent on templates) and her photos are always SO perfect and match the kit perfectly (which I am also quite obsessed with!).

The ones that blow me away have already been mentioned, lol.

Trish is a total rock star. She takes "traditional" kits and scraps them in totally unconventional ways, and I'm always just amazed at the details that go into her layouts.

Sula's shadows are so realistic. Every time she posts a new page, I wonder if she's started doing hybrid pages...which, btw, she did actually do one and it was totally amazing.

Kim is one of my favorite scrappers. Her photos are always fantastic, and she is so creative in scrapping them.

Wonderful eye candy here! I can second Sula, Trish, heathergw, and Nettio. The others are new (to me) so I'm going to be doing a little gallery hopping.

And I'm so glad you posted Kim (Freckles) because I will be checking out what to lift from her gallery!

One of my new (to me) favs is KayM. I am really attracted to her amazing layering and the way her pages focus on the photos and the journaling. Here are some of her gorgeous pages:

I do love the way so many of these gals mentioned (all my fave scrappers for sure) can fill a page with so many goodies and photos, yet not make it look like a mess. That's what it would be if I tried it!

Oh wow you guys, this is a nice thread to wake up to! Thanks for all the love!
And Darcy, I hadn't noticed yet you picked my page as LOTW at MSS, thanks so much!!

I have a lot of favorite scrappers, some of them have already been mentioned here (and I agree, KayM's, Cindy's and Ingrid's pages are just mindblowing!!), but to answer the question which scrapper I have RECENTLY discovered, I would have to say:

scrapper@heart

Here are some of my favorites:

Thank you for all the love ladies
I'd love to scrap like Cindy someday(without her templates I mean)... who am i kidding?? I'd be lost without them
I also find inspiration from Kim, KayM, Ingrid and Sula. And I love how Lexie can adapt any kit to match her pictures.

I'm so glad I started this thread, it's always good to get to learn about new inspiring people. :-) Or to learn some of my faves are other people's faves, too (like Sula and Sugi, from those that were named).

oh, thanks for all the love!!!

I love me some Lex lately, I love how she blends papers to make her own papers which I find myself doing a ton lately because of her and how she makes a themey kit work for her!

I love me some Laura (emmasmommy) lately too!

Sula is another one that I've been loving lately.

Oh, and Kim (Freckles) too!

There really is soooo much talent here in the galleries, I could have a huge list going!

I have to add something. Sula is not new to me, and tends to make me awed on regular basis, but I just have to share these... She's incredible, isn't she.

Awww! This is a happy thread for me! Thanks so much girls for all that love that makes my heart feel all warm and fuzzy just now!

I think, most of my faves have been mentioned here already. KayM was probably one of the first people whose gallery I started stalking more than a year ago! Almost every single time her pages make my jaw drop. Lex (mrshobbes) is another gal I've gotten excited about in the last couple of months (as those who checked out my blog recently might know).

Other people who regularly inspire me are Darla and Aly, though them being sugarbabes, you kind of expect them to stand out, right?

Now I have to go check out the galleries of some of the other ladies mentioned here! Yay for more inspiration!

Trish truly is incredible. I think what she does very much requires more than the average amount of talent. I consider her more artist than scrapbooker (no offence meant to anyone - I just think that scrapbooker doesn't necessarily equal artist, even though it often does).

Oh, I had forgotten - I've always loved Kara, but recently she started to use huge photos on her LOs and I'm totally smitten with that style.

OMG, I know I am so late to this party, but haven't had much time for non-CT scrapping lately (what with my computer being useless at the moment and having to borrow my mom's at her house) and I go into the gallery today to check out a credit for something on one of my pages and saw I had eleven new notifications when I haven't posted a new page in over a month. I came and searched my name to find out why on earth I had all these notifications and see this...

I know I'm all pregnant and hormonal but oh man, you ladies have me all blushing and choked up. Oh I've so missed all you ladies so much. And thank you so much for those of you with those awesomely wonderful compliments. You totally just made my day.

And now this thread has been upped I have to add someone!

It is known that Zora is a friend of mine, but still, biased or not (and I tend to think I'm not a biased person when it comes to judgement of art, and I've been known to tell her openly if I didn't like something she did) I have to promote her, too, because I LOVE the way her scrapping has evolved lately.

She's been in a vintage-y, photo-masky mood for some time and I can't get enough of that. :-)

Some examples:

Also, I think nobody else does "pub sessions with friends" as well as she does. A totally underated genre if you ask me!

I've just discovered someone that totally stunned me with her layouts! They are fun and fresh, with great titlework and an impressive feel for colours.

Her name is akizo and here are some samples:
