hehe its okay don't be embarrassed we don't care if you ask!

but they should supply you with a pair of disposable "panties" they fit perfect where they need to wax.....

now if you go the rest of the way..... don't worry about it

LOL! I was so nervous the first time too, now I'm just used to it. Mine just gives you a "towel" (read: washcloth). They're so used to it, it kind of makes you more comfy with the whole idea once you get in there and they get going. Good luck!

VERY IMPORTANT PIECE OF ADVISE.....learned this one the hard way.....

Trim the area to shorter hair. The less hair that is there, the less pain. It just needs to be long enough for the wax to get a hold of it. Seriously.....makes a world of difference. Maybe keep it an inch or a little less long? Something like that.

Yeah for you! I think once you get past the shock of the first experience, that you will love the outcome and go back for more. Good luck!

I have been wanting to do a Brazilian for years, but I don't think I will ever get up the nerve.

just don't trim it too short. if the hair is too short, the wax won't grab it as well.

I just wear my bikini bottoms so they know where I want to get waxed. I don't want a Brazilian and I've had them go way to close before so I've found my bikini works best.

Thanks for the advice ladies! I don't have too much hair there anyway so I think I may be okay without the trimming. Brazilian? Don't know if I'd ever want to go that far but we'll see how this goes first... This lady is my regular eyebrow waxer and she went to school with my dad (small town) so I was a little embarrassed to ask for the appointment, but she said I should be LESS embarrassed that I know her.. I'm not so sure. I'm a little excited now. I'm going on holiday next weekend and my friends there have a spa so this is going to be a great week relaxing.

Good luck! Maybe take some pain killer about 20 minutes beforehand? Some Advil?

I'd wear an old pair of undies just in case. The place I get waxed at doesn't supply disposible ones. And honestly its not that bad. Especially if the person is experienced.

first of all Ebony - LOVE your siggie!!

second - I'm with paula - I'm not up for hot wax near my "coochie"...LOL!!

plus, I don't think I'm a wuss, but it hurts so bad just to do my eyebrows that I haven't even gone back for THAT!

my eyebrows hurt more than anything. i've had my legs waxed a couple times, and it barely hurt. but every time i get my brows done, i cry. actual tears roll down my face. the girl who does my waxing laughs when she sees it.
i think it's cause the skin is so thin and sensitive on your face. on the rest of your body, it's a little thicker, you know?

ANYWAY. good luck. : )

Oh yes, I get my eyebrows done once a month and maaaan it hurts. Sort of like getting punched in the nose, I tear up and sneeze. Haha
Alright, today's the day. Eep!
PS. Thanks for the compliments on my siggie girls. I can't wait until I actually make a CT so I can brag about it. Hehe...

I'll say 3 words for you all: I.am.Brazilian.
That means I laugh at the face of Brazilian Bikini Wax! I'm the Chuck Norris of Bikini Wax.
Pain? Pfffft!!!!
Nah... It hurts. True. But not that much. But it's embarrassing. A LOT. I'll tell no lie.
I took MANY years to have my bikini line done. Now, I don't wanna another life. But I don't understand WHY it's called 'Brazilian' wax... like EVERY Brazilian woman do this in a regular basis. Well, almost any of my friends do this I know, shocking, but it's true.

DONE AND DONE! Hurt less than my eyebrows which I got done beforehand, didn't have disposable panties so I'm glad I wore an old pair (Thanks Emily!) I really like the result. Might go the whole way next time

Going the whole way hurts wayyyyyy more than legs or eyebrows combined.
