Default Argh! 3 year olds...

Melanie (my 3 year old) just put a cheerio up her nose. I'm glad I figured it out (she started screaming that something was in her nose) I realized she had been eating cheerios, and thought to ask if she did that, "Yes I put a cheerio in my nose". I was finally able to get it out by having her blow her nose... I'm glad we were able to avoid a trip to the ER!

A week or so ago she got her head stuck in one of the kitchen chairs. I'm afraid to ask whats next...

LOL sorry to laugh.
You gotta love kids!
My younger brother was notorious for sticking things up his nose, and eating anything he could find.

Thank goodness everything turned out ok though...yay for no trip to the ER

Ugh, I can so totally commiserate, Julie! When Cameron was three he had his well-child checkup and they found a bead in his ear. No less than one month later I took him in because I was sure something was in his nose. Sure enough, he had stuffed some stuffing from a stuffed animal of his IN HIS NOSE. But, having it removed hurt enough that he never put anything else in his nose.

I'm thinking (well hoping) that she learned her lesson! After she said yes, that's what she did, she started saying "cheerios don't go in my nose again" LOL!

Oh my, I hate to laugh, but that is so like my Sam. He turned around around the other day and had something in each nostril, barely hanging out.

Little kids are too funny. Glad you got it out and not er trip!

LOL, kids are so weird! Mason stuck a popcorn kernel up his nose once, and those suckers expand so we couldn't get it out - DH had to take him in to the ER. When I was in elementary school I stuck a piece of eraser up my nose...took me a REALLY long time to get that out (I never told an adult about it, lol - I knew I was old enough to know better).

As an ER nurse I am never suprised by what kids put in their nose or ears for that matter!!! I keep waiting for the day I have to make the trip to work with Sadie my 18 month old, her sister loves to give her things .

The things they do...

Well, next could be pulling off poopy drawers, dropping them on the carpet, and then stomping on them....can we tell I have a 3 yr old? That's what she pulled this weekend. I was NOT happy...as a matter of fact I popped her tush as I sent her into the bathroom to clean up....not a good move as my hand ended up covered in poo. The fact that she just laughted irritated the daylights out of me.
