#9 Right now. I love to journal little bits about my kids and what they're like at certain ages. I gave Elisa some starter prompts and she finished them off in her own words. E.g. "I love....", " I don't like...", "I like to play..." etc.

#21 Highlight key words in your journalling. So effective to quickly see the names of her toys.

#1 A really big photo. I often go even bigger than this with favourite photos, but I had distracting elements on the left of my daughter, so cut them off and put the title there instead. It's still big enough to pack a punch though, and the focus is still very much on her.

#11 BFF: My daughter is quite social. She is friends with most of the kids in her grade level but she does have a few that she considers her besties.

#19 Combine at least 4 patterned paper on your next page. I love patterned papers and always want to use all the patterned papers in a kit, and have a hard time deciding which to use!

#1 - one really big photo
I chose the 1 really big photo because there is actually something quite challenging about using 1 large photo. You don't think it would be hard until you're actually working on the layout and trying to make the picture be the star while still using elements and papers to accent it. Plus the choosing the picture itself can be a challenge.

#20 - use a pun to create an eggs-cellent title

I do love me some puns and plays on words, so when I saw this and was looking at the preview for Libby's new Easter kit Bunny Tracks, I knew I had to make a punny title for my page from the punny title queen herself. (Libby has the BEST kit titles in the land.) And thus, To Dye For, my page about our egg coloring from Easter last year, was born. And I really sort of love it. I love challenges for inspiring me to create pages I may not have created on my own!

I went with #7 - the little things. I was looking over some old pictures of my 'baby' who is now 4 . She's still the baby of the family and always will be - but I just had to scrap this picture of when she really was still so 'little'. ( It could also work for #19 because there are at least 4 patterned papers ).

#23 Into the Wood(s): I incorporated this theme in both my photo (with the wooded background) and the grass and nature elements that I used on the page.

I too decided to embrace the "One Really Big Photo" challenge. And I knew right away that Becca's newest Pocket Starts collection would have the perfect elements for a photo from our Alaskan adventure. I kept the layout pretty simple - with just a few elements and papers - I really wanted the photo to stand out. And I think I accomplished that!

I seriously love los with one big photo!! I am in love with this photo I took last month, and scrapping it big was the perfect way to go This template is one I've already used before, but it's perfect for this.



And more than 4 pattern papers is another one I didn't have any problem with - I love stacking lots of patterned papers
