what you up to this weekend?

I'm in my last hour of work before finishing for the weekend and I want to escape.

We're going away for the weekend to visit SS Great Britain, which I think was the first iron sailing ship ever made. Also to go to a science museum and 'play' with the exhibits. TRip to the cinema and nice chinese buffet meal out. Can't wait.

More than likely, I'll be relaxing and sleeping in an effort to keep this oncoming cold at bay. I'd much rather be doing my usual Saturday activity: hanging out at my favorite yarn shop and knitting all day.

I don't know... but it will be away from the house. My dad has been recovering at our house now for 2 weeks... and it has been sooo cold that this homebody needs to get out of the house...

Our town is under a Winter Weather Watch with lots of snow predicted...so I will be staying in with my husband and kitties surfing the web, scrapbooking, and reading a good book!

I'm working Saturday and Sunday days but I'm going out for a friends birthday Sat night then out clubbing with the girls on Sunday night x

Tonight we will go out to dinner somewhere.
Tomorrow I am going to an all day 9-9 crop. it's supposed to snow so i'm a little stressed about getting there in the morning.
Sunday we don't have a lot planned. Some grocery shopping and bowling with the cub scouts.

friends of ours invited us to go away with them for the weekend I'm a bit nervous (shy with people and all that :P) but excited at the same time! It will be good to get away! We're going to fairmont hot sprints which is a little hot spring (obviously) type place

Saturday morning I'm going to spend getting the house back in order after a super busy week and then the girls both have basketball games in the afternoon. We're planning to do supper out after the games at a pizza place that we all love. Sunday will be the usual church, dd #1 has a 4-H meeting at 2:00 that afternoon and then we'll be at home for the rest of the day. Nothing super exciting but I'm looking forward to having a couple of days where I'll be home for more than sleeping!

Work finished at 3:30 for me and I went to the pub for a drink with some of my work colleagues. Tonight I am going to a friends for gossip and pizza which I am really looking forward to and then the weekend will be spent doing some decluttering in the bedroom and making cards - lots of new stuff got delivered this week which has been calling my name all week and I want to play with it

We don't have anything planned but the weather is supposed to be nice this weekend - 70s & 80s so I figure we should get out and enjoy it before it starts getting freakishly hot again, haha. Other than that we really need to put the office back together because I painted on Monday and it's still a hot mess in there. I would really like my desk back.

Oh and of course Sunday night...FOOTBALL!! GO 49ERS!!!

If we can get around Seattle without all the crazy snow.....We are supposed to be going to a wedding cake open house. So excited to try some to finally decide on which place is going to make the cake. I got 2 quotes one for 9$ a serving and another for $12....So i think it all comes down to who has the best tasting cake.

It may be icy here tonight into tomorrow, so DD and I are off to get a few groceries in a few minutes just in case. No big plans here. It's been a long, busy week so we're hoping for a quiet weekend at home. I desperately need a little kid-free time, so we'll see if I can get DH on board to watch the kids for a few hours tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow evening we'll probably go out to eat. Sunday morning we may run errands, then DH and my oldest will watch football and I may have a movie night with the younger 2.

Tomorrow we are going to the Alafia River Rendezvous (people acting like they are living pre-1840) but they open up to the public this weekend so we can see all the ax throwing, root beer making, kilt wearing participants...fun stuff.

I'm very nervous for Sunday since it's Warrior Dash (5K with obstacles and lots of mud) day...let's hope I just end up tired and muddy instead of on a stretcher on the way to the hospital.

Winter has finally arrived, so DH will mostly be working. Which leaves me to find something to do with the kids....not sure yet what that could be. If I get the girls' hair pieces done, we'll be doing their Candy Land themed birthday portraits & I might have a 9 month old session that is a reschedule from last weekend. Working on finishing up my new website, maybe a little scrapping, some baking...it's all up in the air right now.

DH is home for a couple of days before they fly out on the 27th. We're going to stay home and just be with the kids and each other. He's taking a nap right now b/c he only slept about 3 hrs last night and then we're going to surprise Avery at school when we pick him up..he didn't know his Daddy would be home today.

I don't think we have anything we have to do particularly, so I'll probably split my time between Call of Duty and scrapping - my me time anyways. I've been wanting to get out and take the girls bowling, since they've never been, and it's something fun we can all do together, but we'll see how the weather is, and how dh is feeling.

Nothing exciting here. Cheyanne is spending the day with friends on Saturday while I work but will be home around dinner time. Sunday I work a half day then she has a basketball game in the late afternoon. Housework needs to be in there somewhere too.

Since we are getting pounded with snow right now...I am sure sledding will be happening sometime this weekend, as long as the temps rise a bit. We went last weekend and the boys had a blast!! Even the baby was sledding down in his sled!!
