Question I need some help with a gift for Naomi...

homegirl will be 2 on Sunday and I'm entirely stumped...I need some ideas that do not have a ton of peices (I hate picking up tons of peices) and that don't take up tons of room. She's really into purses, phones, headbands, glasses, shoes...umm yeah she's an accessories girl. But dang, how much of that can I buy?

Help me.

Aquadoodle? Personalize a fun mirror for her to use when she does 'dress up'?

You could paint a trunk all girlie, picked up some girlie 'big girl' clothes from the second hand store and give it to her has a 'dress up' box. Then she would even have a place to put all her accessories

If she likes dolls, maybe a doll stroller or other gear for her babies. Little People are also a good 2 year old staple.

My 2 year old loves her stroller. She also LOVES her Little People animals (sheep, cow, etc). Madeleine has a minor duck obsession too. LOL

oh yes, I must add that Abby LOVES her baby doll stroller and so so the cats {they sleep in it} and so does Peyton {he just pushes it around} so that is DEFINETELY a good idea and I think they are fairly cheap!

I wonder if I could find her like a nicer stroller? Because she has a little cheap umbrella stroller and I hated it because it was a peice of junk!

My girls (and even Kyle now too lol) have always loved their baby doll strollers! We've had quite a few over the years as they wear them out from playing with them so much! I think this one from Toys R Us looks pretty cute & it seems much sturdier than some of the ones we've had!

We got a cute little babydoll stroller/babydoll carseat/carrier combo...BOTH my kids love it and fight over it often. It was fairly inexpensive, too...I'm not sure of the brand, I'll look and find a link!

My girls have the Graco strollers/baby gear (for dolls) and they are real metal frames, and pretty much just as good quality-wise as the baby stuff. We got Amelia hers when she turned 2, and they both still play with it daily. Rae is still small enough, and sits in the stroller all the time ROFL. And it's held up great, the paint hasn't chipped, fabric hasn't torn.

I also think a dressup box would be super cool!

ETA THIS ONE is similar to what we have, but ours is navy.

We got Kelsie a Graco set very similar to this one 2-3 years ago for Christmas but it was navy/red & the pieces were not metal but cheap grey plastic. The playpen, swing and stroller didn't last long at all before many of the plastic pole pieces snapped in half! So I'd be very wary of buying one of these sets, they are cheaply made compared to some of the other Graco doll items.

Okay, YAY! I'm going to Toys R Us tomorrow then. MIL is watching the kids so I can actually buy her something she won't see until the party on sunday. I'm definitely going to get her a stroller and a new doll for her stroller...preferably one with clothes. LOL! She always strips the poor babies naked. I'm going to wait and see which ones they have in stock before deciding which one to buy, but you'll definitely be hearing about it when I bring it home!

She sat here next to me while I was looking through the online selection, going "Awww, cute!" "Awww, cute!"

It was funny!

Oooooooooh ok. Ours is metal not plastic. It did have 5 pieces in the set though, but I can't find the exact one we had anymore. I bought ours at Costco.

Sounds like you got lucky & found a good one then Jamie! I'd love to find one that is actually a metal frame, Kelsie just loved her set but it all broke so dang quickly The MacLaren stroller I linked to earlier says in the description it is steel frame construction so hopefully I can find it in the store to check it out since she's asking for a new one for Christmas!

Lena I'm sure Naomi will just love her birthday gifts!! Hopefully she'll leave the clothes on her baby lol!
