Default I just had to laugh at this

I don't know about my husband sometimes.

He called a pizza/sub shop where he gets subs sometimes and asked if they have chicken parmesan subs. I guess they said yes because he said ok Ill get one of those. Then he pauses and says "Is it good?" I guess the girl on the phone started laughing too at the same time I did and I told him "Are they really gonna say oh no it sucks. Don't get our subs"

I do the same thing when I go out to eat. Before I order anything I always ask the server if it is good. A few times I've been told "I wouldn't eat it." and I didn't. My son just rolls his eyes at me.

Well, I typically ask if something is good *before* I order, but you know it doesn't hurt to ask the staff about the selections. My SIL started to order something and was immediately told "I don't think you really want that" Turns out she wouldn't have liked it so she was thrilled to have been steered another direction and ended up with a fabulous meal.

I asked the lady at Jack in the Box if she had the bacon shake and if it was good. She said it tasted like peanut butter. I don't know what kind of peanut butter she eats.....My curiosity got the best of me on that one and I regret it. After that, it dawned on me...like she would really say no it sucks and it will ruin bacon for you!
