Yikes! Some of those are nearly as much as I've been eating in a day!

Some of the substitions make me laugh. A 1250 calorie triple whopper vs a 560 calorie cheeseburger. Yea, that'll be totally satisfying.

I've forced myself to cut out most fast food. Even the healthy alternatives aren't healthy, lol.

Oh great! My fave thing to eat at Dairy Queen is the chicken strip basket. Not anymore, I guess! I don't think I could think about eating it again after reading that! lol Ugh! That's the only one I'm guilty of though!

I'm just in shock at the fat content! SO gross.. no wonder I feel horrible (physically sick) when I eat something like that. This is making Subway look better and better. lol

but you know what the REAL kicker is.

When you start looking at the fat content in some of those you know "healthy" salads at restaurants - so often they actually have the HIGHEST calorie and fat content - even compared to meals like chicken fingers and hamburgers etc..

(salad dressing is evil lol)

LOL!!! I used to look at the fat/calorie content, but then my Dr. said I should start watching sodium too..... if you want to see scary, check out the sodium levels in things--especially take out foods. And, canned soups!?!?!?!

WOW! Didn't know that about subs. Always thought they were healthy, but guess their not. We don't eat out much anymore, but next time we do I am going to be careful about what I order. Thanks for the tip Laura.

Subs CAN be healthy... just be careful what you put on them... very little cheese & mayo, lots of veggies and lean meat. And I'm thinking the 12" is prolly not the choice to make either. lol

And the Chipotle burrito is TOTALLY worth it. Every single calorie. I usually only eat about 2/3 of it anyway and I never put sour cream on. hehe
