What's your favorite workout?
I've been doing ChaLEAN Extreme and also running my dog a few nights a weeks. I love the CE workout! I was doing insanity for awhile and that was great too except that it hurt my knees.
My sister also posted this last week and I did it today and seriously was dying. My thighs hurt so bad afterwards http://www.youtube.com/attribution_l...eature%3Dshare What's your favorite workout?

I work out with a trainer 3X a week so his ass-kickings are my fave. LOL!
I used to do Zumba 4X a week but my fave instructor got a promotion and stopped teaching classes. I haven't found one yet that I enjoy as much. I'm not much for at-home workouts. I have done some Fitness Blender workouts. They have a ton of them.

I'm a huge fan of Aqua Zumba... zumba in the pool. However my local YMCAs can't keep instructors... we are only down to 1 in our four Y's in our area. Otherwise, I do other water classes with all the blue hairs...

I've been doing jazzercise religiously for ten years and became an instructor last year. It's been around for over 40 years and there are a lot of misconceptions about what it is... In fact, I had no idea myself until I tried it! I love it and it's a great workout. Best thing is I never have to talk myself into going like I did when I belonged to a gym or tried to work out at home

I used to turbo jam and do Walk Away the Pounds. However, my issue is that I get so bored when I work out and my mind starts to wander and I start thinking of all the stuff I could be doing besides working out. So I prefer to walk on the treadmill and read or watch TV to occupy my mind while I'm working out. Except my treadmill is wearing out so I've been walking outside in the morning before it gets hot. And listening to my daughter talk a mile a minute. We'll see how long I manage to keep it up.

I like things that are easy and fun...so walking, swimming, and playing Just Dance are my favorite workouts.

Walking is my favorite form of exercise but our weather is so often questionable, I just started Walk Away the Pounds this week. I can't start with anything more vigorous than that because I've tried and when I can't keep up, I get discouraged, and when I get discouraged, I give up. So I'm starting small. We'll see if I ever work up to one of those intense workouts.

My favourite workout is the one I'm happy to do on a particular day, haha!
Somedays I want to zone out to some good tunes while doing cardio - so I'll do 35 minutes on the elliptical at medium resistance and speed. Other days, I want to watch a show while I'm working out, so I'll do a 5 minute elliptical workout and then 25 minutes of body-weight and dumbbell strength exercises in front of the tv, followed by another few minutes on the elliptical to relax. I also like to do a quick warm up of marching or "faux jumping rope" for a minutes, follow by a favourite stretching routine for 15 minutes. Just to work the kinks out. Sometimes, but infrequently, I'll pull out a workout DVD, like something by Bob Harper or Jillian or Mari WInsor pilates. (BTW, I also use a FitBit and make sure I get 10,000 steps a day.) |
