Default When your husband wakes you up twice at 3:30 am getting ready for work...

You take it as a sign to get up and get a few hours of work in yourself before the minions arise....

How's your morning going?

I hate mornings lol

But I too would have just gotten up to work as well. So far our morning has been uneventful. (now that I said that I'm sure Kennedy will come over and turn into the devil and her head will spin and she'll spew split pea soup at me)

Our issue is that he turns the hall light on and then uses it to rummage through his drawers/closet trying to get dressed...no matter how many times I tell him to pull his clothes out before bed...

Not a good morning. The dog was trying to get out of his crate for 2 hours last night! I finally let him out at 1:30am and he ran upstairs and jumped on our bed. So we had a 75 pound dog sleeping with us last night. Which means very little sleep for us.

I hate mornings anyway.

I would of killed Patrick! LOL I love my sleep WAY too much! Well, glad you are getting things done. I don't know if I would of handled that so well. I would of laid in bed plotting a way to torture him when he got home. LOL

My husband woke me up at 4:30, the cat decided my head was a great place to freak out on, I spilled my breakfast cereal all over the floor so I had to mop it, I broke a lace in my gym shoes, and I have no idea where my allergy meds are hiding. I want a do over. #ihatemondays

I HATE when my hubby comes home at those crazy hours from work and he thinks that he needs to slam every door and drawer shut... our bathroom is LOUD with one of those stupid fans and when he goes to brush his teeth he leaves the door open. I used to imagine banning him to the couch when he got home so late...

Our morning is decent, hubby took kids to school, baby off for morning nap, me... hanging out with all you lovely ladies

In our house, I'm the one who keeps the crazy hours. DH goes to bed early, and for me 1 am is an early night. (Not that I get to sleep in in the morning, but I don't need as much sleep as DH.) I don't know if it's a male/female thing, but I'm very quiet and rarely wake DH when I come in even though he's a lighter sleeper than I am. But in the am he has to be up 30 minutes before me, and he always turns the light on, talks, etc. Oh well! At least I hardly ever oversleep these days, LOL.

My husband learned prior to having kids, to get his clothes out. Bad things happen to those that wake me up at 6am. Cole has finally learned now to teach Cade. Cole is not a morning person either. He normally wakes up saying hes, grump-tee!

This thread make me very appreciative that on early mornings, Adam puts his clothes in the hallway and gets ready in our second bathroom so as not to wake me with the ridiculously loud fan that's attached to the light. Really I think it's less stressful for both of us that way since he doesn't have to worry about being quiet all the time either.

I wish my husband was that considerate. I usually lay my clothes out downstairs (because my vanity is there and we have a second bathroom). I don't mind that he moves around as he's dressing up, but he WILL forget himself and slam the bedroom door.

...and I overslept this morning. Thank goodness for coffee to balance out the stress.

My DH doesn't do that...he doesn't like me in the morning after he wakes me up!

Yeah- my husband is obviously smarter than you alls. lol. He is quite sweet about always being quiet and letting me sleep in. He sleeps like a rock and I'm a light sleeper so I think he's just hyper aware.

Believe me, he has lots of other annoying qualities though! lol.

I always wake up before my husband. Daylight saving finished last weekend, so instead of waking at 6.30am, I've been waking at 5.30am. I get up and either do a workout or play on the computer till Hubby gets up around 7am.

I'm the one in our house who has to get up at an insanely early hour (4.30am) to go to work... I hate it!!! (Thankfully I only have to do that two days a week). But I am always quiet and never wake anyone else - my husband sleeps like a log anyway.

I'm like Kim... the one who has to get up early. It's usually ok, since he has to get up shortly after me... BUT, when he works a late shift like 11-8, then I feel super bad and try to be a even quieter. I actually think the coffee machine wakes him up sometimes, so I wait to make my tea until I'm heading out. :P

DH can usually go back to sleep, so he doesn't give me heck about it. He already knows I feel bad. Really long story short, but the kids accidentially learned to wake him up (as opposed to me) when they needed something, so he learned to fall back to sleep really quickly.

lol! Similar to what Adrienne said... but by accident.

We have a really dark bedroom, shades and curtains. So... my 3 year old at the time - Shayne, came into my room around 2 or 3 am.... and stared at me. You know when you have an uncomfortable feeling someone is starting at you? Well, it actually woke me up, and there were eyes staring at me in the dark. I gasped loudly and moved backward away from the eyes. It took a few seconds for me to realize... but the damage was done. He ran to the other side of the bed crying for DH.

He has never once come to my side in the middle of the night. And better yet, he taught his brother. It was bad and I felt horrible, but it worked out perfectly.

I used to get up super early when hubby did and I'd get like a ton of work done before the sun even came up! I totally miss it!
